Good location
The staff is very nice; breakfast is good. The terrace close to the entrance is very cosy and invites you to take a rest after a city sightseeing. I would have liked to have more lamps in my room as it was difficult to read my book. I do hope to go back to St Gallen in future.

Sehr modernes Hotel
Wir wurden herzlich empfangen, konnten bereits am Mittag das Zimmer beziehen und erhielten viele Tipps für St. Gallen. Das Hotel liegt zentral und ist sehr modern. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir können dieses Hotel absolut weiterempfehlen.

Liked: Location, breakfast at The Pinch next store, the place was clean. Disliked: The room and hotel lobby looked nothing like the pictures. Our room was plain and ugly and uncomfortable. Parking is stacked and you have to give your keys to the front desk (not as advertised). Service carts left in the hallways all night. It felt like the staff had given up making the place seem nice in the time of COVID and low occupancy. This should be rated as a 1 star or 2 star hotel. We checked out a night early partly due to the disappointment in the room. There was a mistake in the charge, and the hotel promised to refund the money. So far, it has not come through and multiple attempts to contact them have yielded silence. Very disappointed honestly.

As I've written in my last mail, I regret very much that we were unable to provide you a nice stay at our hotel. Your review will help us to improve in terms of our cleaning service, for example the point with the service carts. But I am surprised regarding the point with the online photos. Could you please tell us where have you seen pictures that shows the hotel and your booked room in a different way. I understand your point, because this should not happen. Furthermore our Bar is open weekdays from 8am to 8pm and on weekend from 9am to 6pm. Could you tell me if someone did not serve you or told you that the bar is closed? Would it be possible to provide me with more information about this incident. Regarding the refund of the unused night. I have checked your booking and as it looks like you have booked a non-refundable rate through a Tour Operator. Have you contacted the Tour Operator in this case? Because changes have to be done through the agent. If not, please let me know, maybe we can support you. I would be grateful if you could provide me with more information about all the points so that I can arrange the appropriate compensation for you personally.
