“Great stay! Grabbed this charming apartment for a birthday getaway weekend for my wife. Right in the heart of Apalachicola near all the major restaurants and shops. When we arrived, we found a clean, 3-room apartment with Keurig machine, microwave, and small fridge already there. Apartment was very comfortable and cool with mini-split air conditioning in each room. Bathrooms were very clean. Ron, the host, was great! “We LOVED Beach Joy! It was the perfect little house for our 20th Anniversary. Unfortunately, the a/c died while we were there. BUT, the rental company moved us to a beachside property for the remainder of our stay at no additional cost! If and when we come back to the Island, we would love to stay at Beach Joy again :)”

“We had such an amazing stay! Just a short walk to the beach- we walked to see the sunrise and hunt shells each day- loved the large table for a light breakfast and then headed back to enjoy the waves and sun. The pool was a nice incentive to get the kids back to the house and then we were able to do some relaxing afternoons before going out to eat at the awesome restaurants in the area! “The Blue Crab was perfect for my family. I have 17 year old triplets. They each had their own bed and slept comfortably. The location of the property is very convenient.
