Lodge a St. George Island State Park

“This property has potential. I do not consider this property to be resort quality. The pool area had food scraps on the tables and on the deck, the QR code for ordering drinks and food did not work. In a resort setting, the drinks are brought out to you. We had to go inside and pick up our order. The unit we stayed in had ants and other bugs all over the floor in the bathtub and even in the bed. Separate towels to use for the pool were not included. We were instructed to wash, dry, and put away...

“This hotel is on the older side. Right on the beach. Restaurants and bars are within walking distance of hotel. Also within walking distance of island attractions. Nice walking/bike path that runs length of island within two blocks of hotel. Only inconvenience of the property was the size of the bathroom. Tried to close door and only had an inch of space between toilet and the door.”

I will be renting from here every time we come to visit St. George Island. Also, the hand painted rocks are beautiful.”
