  • Welcome to Loon's Hideaway vacation home located on the sandy lake front of Pickerel lake in St. Germain, Wisconsin. This beautiful 3 bedroom home features recent updates and added amenities to make your Northwoods vacation as care-free and memorable as possible.
    The home has a stunningly designed kitchen that is fully stocked with a dining area that seats 6. The living room contains picture windows with views of the lake . The perfect place for early morning coffee!

    Head out onto the deck overlooking the lake while grilling under the sun or cozy up along the lake front fire pit to watch the stars sparkle in the Northwoods sky. A charcoal grill is provided, as well as ample seating around the fire pit for memorable smore creations. The lakefront is sandy and perfect to take a dip.

    Explore Pickerel Lake from the property’s private pier or meander around the 580 -acre lake. Pickerel Lake is known for having great fishing with an abundant supply of panfish and bass along with plentiful numbers of musky, northern pike and walleyes. The lake is also the perfect place to practice your standup paddle board yoga or paddle along the shore searching for a glimpse at a bald eagle or the loon family!

Fantastic Hideaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were celebrating our 40th college reunion with 4 friends all across the country. We loved Loons Hideaway. It was quiet, pretty to look out at the lake and had a big, beautiful kitchen and dining table we could sit and have long, relaxing conversations. We brought our own floaties and relaxed in the water 3 days for several hours. Kathy was very responsive when we asked questions. We would highly recommend this stay. It was clean and had amazing chairs out of the huge deck overlooking the water. Great place to sit and read a book or have lunch on the picnic table (with umbrella).

Our stay was nice, but it started off on the wrong foot. We didn't have have a check in book, but once we contacted the host and she dropped it off it was good. She was super nice and very helpful.We stayed in June and it was a lot cooler than expected. We ran the furnace, which gave off a mildewy smell.The neighbors were closer then expected, but everyone we ran into was very kind. The fish cleaning house came in handy when we caught some fish. Overall it was a nice place to stay.
