Lovely Property

Great location very comfortable and warm place to stay, although the double bed needs updating way to soft and some windows need addressing, other than that would stay again loved it.

The cottage is in a fabulous cobbler street location, 2 minute walk to the harbour. The cottage is well equipped if you wanted to cook, we ate out because there are lots of lovely places to eat. The cottage was lovely and clean, great powerful shower. The host Victoria had left us milk, biscuits, tea, coffee, washing up liquid and tea towels. We had great communication from Victoria, any questions were responded really quickly. We didn’t want to leave and we will definitely return. Thank you so much, we we highly recommend and thank you. Xx

This quaint cottage was perfect for 2 couples. We loved being steps away from the beach and very close to all the amenities in St Ives. The property was clean and comfortable. The only thing I would say is the parking spot is a distance away because of the old town. So anyone with mobility issues might consider that. There are cabs for hire if needs be. Would recommend, it was perfect for us.

Expensive but excellent location on a quiet lane in the center of old St. Ives. Parking spot includef, but beware that it is a considerable distance away near the top of a steep hill on Bishop St. Not a problem, just need to allow time for that. Dropping off luggage and picking up again at the end is possible (recommended) by driving directly to the front door. Tight lanes and roads double as pedestrian walkways in the center. The unit itself was excellent and exceeded expectations. Quiet enough for a great sleep. The gas fireplace provided good heat on a chilly early season weekend. Electric heaters in the two bedrooms were also good. Good and very fast internet, though the provided Wi-Fi instructions were incorrect -- instead get the ssid/passwd from the back of the modem in the lounge.

Wonderful Weekend

Location Location Location - 1 minute walk to shops and Harbour and 3 minute walk to Porthmeor Beach. Great space for 4 adults and all our water kit. Easy access for dropping off suitcases and parking space provided. A wee bit dated but perfectly looked after - lots of lovely kitchen equipment if you want to cook. If we ever return to St. Ives we will definitely return to this cottage. Oh a big mention for the beautiful flowers outside - seems everyone wants a photo x

Ideal cottage and location

Beautiful old cottage and very central I’m a bit disabled but still managed the cobblestone lane with a stick and able to access the sea front local pub and really wonderful restaurants There are stairs but sturdy banisters Plenty of room for a fold down wheelchair outside but a push for a scooter Lovely dresser with beautiful ceramics Comfortable beds Plenty of heaters so would be fine for a winter break Kitchen very well equipped bit narrow but added to charm and it is after all a former fisherman’s cottage Only issue I had was the TV none of us could just access iPlayer without spending half an hour trying to navigate the controls most of us are it literate but think I’d have had less trouble docking with the space station than putting The Archers on Was a bit pricey but well worth it as so Corey and even though so central also felt totally away from it all Will definitely return Victoria the host is also so helpful If you do stay then the restaurant at the bottom of the lane, less than half a minute serves the best scallops I’ve ever seen
