Surfs Up! Minutes away from the Harbour and town centre!

Listed granite built Surfs Up is in a wonderful position at the far end of Carncrows Street, less than a minute's walk from Wheal Dream, Porthgwidden and the harbour. It has been sensitively modernised allowing its history as a pilchard press to merge effortlessly into the modern age, colourful and well-designed with a good-sized living space, white-painted granite walls and polished limestone flooring allow the light to flow freely throughout. Accessed from the kitchen a snug decked courtyard complete with a bistro set brings the outside in, well designed with three good-sized bedrooms and bathrooms two of which are en-suite Surfs Up is a charming place to stay in the heart of St Ives.

Under-floor heating throughout ground floor.
Sitting room area. Entrance through from stable door into stylish and light open-plan living space with 2 settees, coffee table, modern gas fireplace and wall mounted reading lights and TV.
Kitchen and dining area. Contemporary kitchen fitted with electric oven and induction hob, fridge, washing machine, slimline dishwasher, microwave with ample work tops and storage space. Dining table with seating for six.
Wet room. Rainfall shower, sink and WC.

First Floor
Bedroom 1. Overlooking Carncrows Street. Double bed, bedside tables with reading lights and large wardrobe with drawers.
Ensuite bathroom. Compact room neatly fitted with a cottage-size bath with shower over, sink, WC and heated towel rail.
Bedroom 2. Overlooking the courtyard below and with Island and sea glimpses. King size bed, hanging space, bedside tables and reading lights.
Ensuite shower room. Compact room with shower, WC, sink and heated towel rail.
Bedroom 3. Overlooking the courtyard below. Bunk beds with reading lights and wardrobe with drawers.

Lovely Stay

Great property. Perfect location. Would recommend. Only very minor issues as below. But would definitely stay again - some of the light bulbs were blown/ didn't work ( stairs & ensuite bathroom light) - the tv remote wouldnt turn the volume down. We did report this to the team who replied promptly saying a member of their team would come to sort. But never showed up. However we managed to find the voloume controls on the tv so wasn't an issue All very very minor. The rest of the property was perfect for our stay. One note. The parking for one vechle is located at the train station which is a brisk 10/15 minute walk. We opted to use the island car park around the corner ( 2 min walk) which was roughly £27 for the week due to the weather we received on arrival and during our stay ( 50mph winds and rain)
