Just like paradise

This property is exactly like the pictures- beautiful! it is close to downtown and the grocery stores. You will not be disappointed. When visiting St. John, make sure you go to The Windmill Bar to watch the sunset. Get there early and have dinner. It has the most amazing view!

My husband, daughter & I had stayed there twice prior but the rest had not been to St John. Everyone loved the accommodations. We had a few dinners at the villa, spent time in the pool, and had kayaks delivered to use during our stay. Although we had power outages, the generator took over & it was a non issue for us.

We returned to St John after an 8 year hiatus and of course we were not disappointed. We have rented many villas over the years primarily in the Virgin Grand Estates. The Ardisia was a new location for us (chocolate hole, cruz bay). The house is magnificent. The location is convenient to town and the north shore beaches. The rooms are spacious and the common great room was a wonderful place to hangout as were the outdoor patios and pool. Would highly recommend the Ardisia and looking forward to our return!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is my 4 year staying at Villa Ardisia. The property is in a great location and a beautiful property. Overall I was satisfied with our stay but wanted to provide a little feedback as to why it does not get 5 stars out of 5. Each year my largest complaint was the lack of an ice machine because the refrigerator ice maker could never keep up. Each year it has gotten progressively worse to the point this past stay it did not work at all. I have also noticed more wear and tear on the property but I guess that is expected given the popularity and amount of use. I will definitely stay here again and again I will offer to split the cost of an ice maker with the owners as I have told the Catered To staff for the past few years. I realize this is more of a convenience item but having stayed in Kaleidoscope Villa which had an ice machine in addition to the ice maker in the refrigerator it makes a huge difference.

Beautiful Home in a great location.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is perfect for 5 couples with all king beds and master baths. Beds and Bedding were comfortable. We loved the outdoor showers and the outdoor sitting an lounging areas. We had a few maintenance issues. The ice maker in the refrigerator was not working and could not be repaired while we were there. The internet went out for a day but was quickly repaired the next morning. The shower handle in the beach level bedroom was broken but still worked. There appeared to have been some recent damage in the living room ceiling that had not been replaced. Likewise the outdoor sitting area was missing its ceiling fans and one light fixture. The landscaping at the beach level was a little overgrown blocking the beautiful view from the pool. Would have loved the pool to be heated but we knew that it was not.

Doing St John 2023 - Ardisia

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay at Ardisia. The property is beautiful in every way. Despite this high rating.... we encountered three problems (two being major) 1) The interior clothes dryer was out of order for 3 days... It was semi-fixed but still had problems! 2) We were unable to use the lower bedroom due to a previous small fire that burnt a wall in an adjacent storage room. The burnt smell was very strong in the bedroom thus unable to accommodate guest :( 3) There is an existing plumbing leak from the ceiling with stains on the wood ceiling that leaks water onto the floor within five feet from the back entrance (commonly used) into/out of the villa. We were required to place towels and change wet towels on the floor to absorb the dripping water. There is an existing odor from the leak.... Was much concern about the cleanliness and sanity from this leak :( Again, this was an major ongoing problem and should have been fixed prior to rental. These two major problems should have been priority of the property management. Both problems seem to be on ongoing issue for few plus weeks... maybe longer than a month :( Again and otherwise the property and view was very very nice!

The location was amazing, close to town to get dinners, but far enough to feel private. We had 3 meals in villa with chefs, that was a great way to relax and enjoy the evening. We spent several days just enjoying the pool and shade areas, spent the rest of the time hitting different beaches. Looking forward to a return visit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We just got back from a stay at Ardisia and all we can say is Wow Wow Wow.The villa is exquisite in every way. The 5 bedrooms are spacious and tastefully decorated with views galore. The 3 upstairs bedrooms have views for days and beautiful en suite bathrooms with outdoor showers and private balconies . The bedroom on the main level is off the library with en suite bathroom and outdoor shower and has an outdoor sitting area in a jungle like setting with beautiful palm trees and tropical plants. The bedroom on the bottom level opens right up to the beach and is steps from the water of Great Cruz Bay. Each room is spread apart to give you ultimate privacy. The living room and kitchen area are decorated with such style it looks like it should be on the cover of a travel magazine. The outdoor cabana area was our go to at the end of the day to lounge in the pool in the late day sun or read on the couch in the shade, we ate dinner out there several nights and the large outdoor dining table as well. We also rented paddle boards thru Arawak for the week and they delivered right to the villa. Nothing better than an early morning or late afternoon paddle around the bay. Ardisia in one word is Spectacular. I would say the pictures don't do it justice but they do. The villa looks exactly like the pictures portray. It's absolutely stunning.

It is tastefully decorated with furniture and decor that you would see in a private residence. The location on Great Cruz Bay is convenient but the best part are the gorgeous sunsets and morning rainbows We have stayed there 6 times and will plan a seventh soon. Highly recommend Ardesia

The view is incredible and the house has a superb layout for a large group, and is well furnished inside and out. One of our guests (a first grader) learned to swim and snorkel while there. The only problem was that we were not there long enough!

Extremely spacious and enough room for our party of 10 to gather outside in the shade. The villa was by far the best equipped villa we have ever stayed in. Catered To was quick to respond to our request of 2 missing beach chairs and towels. Location made it easy to get to Cruz Bay and north shore beaches.
