  • Con una spiaggia di sabbia bianca per un cortile, Rainbow Beach è una delle poche case fortunate di St. John che è una vera villa sulla spiaggia. Rainbow si trova in una tranquilla insenatura sulla costa occidentale di Coral Bay e nuotare, fare snorkeling e andare in barca nelle calde acque dei Caraibi, a 50 piedi dal ponte, è una delle migliori caratteristiche di Rainbow. Ci sono solo quattro ville su questa piccola spiaggia, quindi questa impostazione è tranquilla, riposante e romantica. Rainbow Beach comprende anche una piscina, una vasca idromassaggio e una terrazza soleggiata con viste incantevoli. La brezza soffia fresca e delicata, ed è a 5 minuti di auto da ristoranti e bar a Coral Bay.

    La casa dispone di quattro camere da letto con bagno più un soppalco (1 letto king size, 2 letti matrimoniali, 2 letti singoli che si trasformano in un re) e tutte le camere hanno aria condizionata, TV, radiosveglia per iPod e vista sull'acqua. Le camere da letto si trovano su entrambi i livelli (2 in alto, 2 in basso) alle estremità opposte della casa, quindi tutte hanno una buona privacy. Due camere da letto si aprono sul ponte piscina al piano superiore e le camere da letto al piano terra si aprono sulla spiaggia.

    La grande sala contiene la zona giorno e pranzo, oltre alla cucina. C'è un tavolo per otto nella sala da pranzo interna, oppure accendi la griglia a gas e cenare sul ponte. La grande sala è dotata di TV a schermo piatto da 50 pollici e stereo / CD con connessione per iPod, posti a sedere per 6-8 e splendide viste sul Mar dei Caraibi e sul Parco Nazionale, nonché su Tortola nelle Isole Vergini britanniche.

    Rainbow Beach è una delle poche ville di Coral Bay che si trovano su una spiaggia di sabbia bianca - è prima di tutto una casa al mare. È stato progettato per famiglie, coppie o chiunque ami stare al sole, sabbia e acqua per la maggior parte del giorno, quindi nella vasca idromassaggio e nella piscina di notte. Ospiterà 8 persone, ma è anche un perfetto rifugio romantico per una o due coppie. Con un sacco di olio solare, sabbia, musica e cibo e bevande nel mix, questa casa è una casa sulla spiaggia divertente che è molto piacevole senza essere eccessivamente sofisticata. Era destinato al divertimento al sole e al puro relax; e serve un sacco di entrambi.

Great house and Spectacular View

This house was perfect for us. There were some previously expressed concerns about the furniture but what we found was new and fit in just right in this home. We had 7 adults using the four bedrooms, two on the lower level and two on the main floor. Great for privacy. Kitchen was a good size and completely stocked with everything we needed. All the amenities were fabulous - we didn't want for anything. The house is secluded with an incredible view of Coral Bay. The pool/hot tub were fabulous and in great condition. We ended up just hanging out there quite a bit because it was so nice. We used the grill on several occasions and it worked perfectly. The beach area is pretty small and not really suitable for swimming (lots of sea grass). It is very shallow but this actually allowed us to walk out to a beautiful coral island which we explored for at length. We knew this ahead of time that it wasn't a swimming-type beach so we weren't really disappointed. Would we go back there? Absolutely! This was the perfect house for our family and hopefully we'll be back.

Quiet island retreat right on the water

This property is my favorite of the 3 I've stayed in on St. John's in recent years. What makes it special is its location right on the water at Johnson Bay. Though the description appropriately notes that there is no beach here, it minimizes the value of having direct access to the water and being able to look out on the gorgeous view from the house and the pool deck. For that reason alone, I'd stay here again. There are good restaurants and groceries nearby, making it a very convenient location for anyone wanting to stay on the quiet Coral Bay side of the island. The house is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. I dropped a star for communication with the property manager because we got some misinformation about how the road race scheduled for our departure day would affect us. Other than this, our communication with the manager was terrific.

Loved our stay near Coral Cove!

The Rainbow Beach House was an amazing rental for us - we feel privileged to be able to stay there. My goal of being able to go swim on the reef every morning was fulfilled - the water right in front of the property is clear and beautiful - it was also super calm and easy for swimmers if any skill level. WiFi was great - kitchen and fridge were great - laundry no problem - bathrooms were ideal - we didn’t try to use the A/C in the bedrooms, but it is there. Bonus - wild iguanas and a banana tree that was just starting to bloom!! Thank you for an amazing stay!

The villa is perfect, all renovated, we had everything we need. Overall we love it. The only problem we had was a hot tub which did not work and needs to be upgraded, replaced, or not advertised as villa's feature at al. Thank you.

Loved the new updates

The home is spectacular and now with some newer updates it's perfect! This is my second visit. This stay included two families. More than enough room for everyone. The kids loved the pool and the beach access is fantastic. We had everything we needed and can't wait to come back.

Rainbow Beach is amazing!!

I have been to Rainbow Beach 7 times. Since my last visit 3 beautiful bathrooms have been installed, a beautiful sectional couch, large tv in downstairs master bedroom, rugs, bedding etc. This is a beautiful home that provides an amazing get away. The views are extraordinary with a pool and jacuzzi overlooking the bay. I love the convenience to all of the local beaches and bistros. Should you wish to cook at home there are 3 markets within a couple of miles. Kitchen is fully stocked. Enjoy a honeymoon here or bring friends and family. I have no desire to go any where else.

NICE IMPROVEMENTS

I was a bit hesitant to stay here reading the last review regarding the small issues they had but obviously the villa owner and manager have made some nice upgrades. There were no bathroom/water issues with us and we had 8 guests the entire week and a half. New living and dining room furniture, exceptional kitchen overflowing with accessories. Deck furniture recovered, list goes on. It's obvious the villa owner listens to his/her guests and made the appropriate improvements. We love Rainbow Beach and will return next spring. Spent time at Lucys Restaurant and Lameshur Bay. The drive to Concordia and walk to Salt Pond was a full day's adventure. We love St. John and will continue to stay at Rainbow Beach. It truly is a comfortable and affordable accommodation.

Good Value and Location

Overall we were pleased with our stay. The location is wonderful and felt very private. This is an exceptional home for two families. The layout is wonderful with the open kitchen and bonus space for kids in the loft. The outdoor space is better than advertised. We used the pool and hit the hottub everydsy. The hammock made for nice afternoon naps. The weber grill was great for roasting a thanksgiving turkey which we served outside. We rented s SUP from Lucy and paddled the kids out to the reef and around the bay. You do have to go into this with the right attitude and expectations. This is a beach house and some updates are needed to bathrooms and small things like some of the electrical outlets. We did have toliet issue downstairs. The key is to hold the flush all the way down and watch paper usage or use upstairs. I will say that the villa management company was exceptional in every way and handled this problem faster and better than anyone I have ever worked with. You can count on them to handle any issue you face. The beach house is not s luxury villa, but the management company treats you like you are in one. If you want a place that sleeps 8 plus, want to be right on the water, are ok with imperfections, this is a great value for the cost.

Just OK, needs some work

This property was an ok place to stay. Very roomy with a nice pool. But it needs some serious updating. If you are looking for something modern this is not the place. The electrical outlets are broken, living room and patio furniture is extremely old and broken down. Also, the beach location pictures are a little misleading. Beyond the sand and hedges is the waters edge. There is no sandy edge of the water for kids to play. And the water in front is shallow with tons of sea grass, so not good for swimming. I hope someone remodels this place soon.

Rainbow Beach is Awesome

We stayed at Rainbow Beach this January for the 2nd year and I have to say it was even better than the first. The house itself is both beautiful and comfortable. Its convenient to a lot of great beaches as well as a bunch of local restaurants-all of them fun and good food. The upstairs/downstairs layout makes if perfect for families and couples-insuring privacy and a quiet space apart as well as a wonderful space to all come together. Its casual enough to make everyone feel comfortable and pretty enough to make staying a pleasure. My sister, the chef, raves about the kitchen!

Rainbow Beach is truly paradise. The magic and glory must be experienced to be understood. This was my second time staying here and I can't wait to go back. The house is a tropical palace, I felt like a king staying there with just my wife. But besides all the luxuries you would expect from such a place, there are some very special features you won't find anywhere else on the island. To the right of the house, between the coral island and the mangroves, there is a shallow channel that teeming with birds and marine life. I brought my own inflatable paddleboard last time. I highly recommended it. And while you're out on the water, be sure to explore the some of the gorgeous coral reefs off of lagoon point (straight in front of the house). The snorkeling is excellent. If you want to have the vacation of a life time, check out Rainbow Beach.

Amazing vacation

I first visited the island in 2010, while visiting i stayed at the rainbow beach house. I instantly fell in love both with the island and the home, since then i have made time every year to return. The house is truly wonderful, it has everything you will want and surrounded by beautiful views. I look forward to the trip every year its a wonder place to relax. The house is great location as well, right on the ocean and with a few restaurants and shops only 2 minutes down the road.

A vacation of a life time

I would recommend Rainbow Beach to anyone traveling to St. John. Upon entering the home there is a breath taking view of the bay and mountains. The first floor hosts an open floor plan with a fully equipped kitchen, a full bath and adjoining bedroom. The master bedroom overlooks the pool and jacuzzi with spectacular views. The master bath hosts an updated bath with a beautiful tiled shower. There is an open loft over the kitchen with 2 queen sized beds. The bottom level offers 2 master bedrooms with full baths. The locations of the bedrooms on each side of the house provides a great amount of privacy should you choose to travel with friends. The beach is roomy and allows for volley ball or relaxing in chairs. The water is shallow with no great drop off making it a perfect playground for children and those who wish to snorkel. The location of the home is close to a reasonable priced market as well as outside dining. You haven't lived until you have sampled a bushwhacker or a pain killer, my 2 new favorite cocktails. The many beautiful beaches are but minutes away by car or donkey. Loved the wild donkeys that roam the island. Should you wish an evening in Cruz Bay it is a beautiful and scenic 30 minute ride. I can't wait to return.

Thank you for an amazing vacation - Beautiful home and perfect location!

I was lucky enough to spend nearly a week in the Rainbow Beach House and enjoyed every minute of my stay. The home is beautiful and comfortably accommodated our group of 10 people. The main living room area is great for entertaining a large party and the kitchen is spacious enough to allow for multiple chefs! There is a massive porch located right outside of the living room with excellent views of the bay. We had a really nice time swimming in the pool and unwinding in the Jacuzzi after a day at the beach. There's a grill on the porch which we used nightly and we also grilled up a bunch of Spiny Caribbean lobsters we caught in the bay right outside the home! The ocean is just a few steps from the house and has really beautiful reefs and tropical fish. When we weren't lounging in the pool we were out front snorkeling! Words cannot describe the amazing vacation we all had at the Rainbow Beach House. Highly recommended and looking forward to returning on our next trip to the Caribbean!

Paradise found - best vacation spot in the Caribbean - amazing value

I just stayed at Rainbow Beach House - all I can say is, WOW! We had the most incredible stay and I wish it never had to end. We arrived on 8/27/2013 and were immediately greeted by the management company upon arriving in Cruz Bay - we got the keys, rented a Jeep and were off to the house in less than 10 minutes. It could NOT have been easier. They provided us with detailed directions to get the house - it was simple - and one of the most beautiful, picturesque car rides imaginable. Upon arriving in Johnson's Bay, an exclusive gated enclave of high end homes in Coral Bay, we pulled up to Rainbow Beach House and knew we had arrived in PARADISE! The house was exactly as we'd imagined it'd be - just perfect. We had a group of 10 - 6 adults (3 couples) and 4 children. The 3 master bedrooms - there is one that is truly the master bedroom because of its size, the other 2 are VERY close tied/2nds and are definitely master bedroom quality - are all very comfortable, with private baths en-suite. The 4th bedroom has 2 twin beds, perfect for children or single adults (and I suppose they could easily be combined to make a large bed), plus the loft which is very spacious and has 2 full/queen beds suitable for adults. The house couldn't have been more perfect - huge kitchen with a great layout for group dinners, entertaining and relaxing. The outdoor patio is HUGE and could easily accommodate a dinner party for 20 adults. The Weber barbeque worked like new and got tons of use while we were there - grilled lobsters, burgers, steaks... you name it! I was told by the manager that repairs had been made on the house to improve the dishwasher - it worked perfectly for us without any issue. The pool and jacuzzi are serene - I spent a lot of time just lounging there, reading and enjoying the view of Coral Bay and Tortola, in the distance. The colors of the sea will make you feel at ease. In front of the house, we spotted large sting rays, sea turtles and beautiful fish - plus, the location in Coral Bay is very accessible to all of the best beaches on the island (Saltpond Bay - definitely a must see - it's magnificent. Many of the small restaurants in Coral Bay are excellent, too - as is the little grocery store. We couldn't have been happier with our choice to stay at Rainbow Beach House - I hope we'll be able to return again within the next 6 months. Our family hasn't stopped talking about it since we've been home - it was a perfect vacation!

A bit of a disappointment

This property is for sale and I hope someone buys it soon. It could us some new owner energy. Things are a bit tattered all around. The pictures look better then real life. we were 10 people and no one really wanted to go swimming right by the house, not really a beach. Location is well away from things , sometimes that was good and sometimes it wasn't. Its not a 20 min. ride to cruz bay, More like 45mins at least. The neighbor says this is a very strong house so it has good potential. Someone buy it and fix it up!!! We love St john and enjoyed the beaches. sitting outside at night was great. We had no problems with bugs. Our favorite beachon St.john ,this time,was salt pond beach. Very close, not to many people, great snorkling, even enjoyed the little hike we had to take to get to it. 5-10 mins. Love city conven, store was a good deal.Not to far away. A few bars in between with some good rums if you like that sort of thing. Would I stay there again? No. For the money I spent ,it should have been better kept up. I forgot to mention the $10.oo sound system that was a pain to even get to work. And no light in the pool at night.( we really missed that)And losing power in one of the lower bedrooms ,so there was no air and those poeple had to sleep in one of the other bedrooms with the people that were already there. If you stay there , tell me I'm wrong about it being sort of run dowm and not well looked after.

PARADISE

This is truly paradise! We love the layout of this villa. There are beautiful views from every room. It is so nice having the pool on the deck and private beach just below. We had fun swimming, snorkeling and rafting right out in front of the villa. There are also a number of beautiful beaches nearby, as well as, walking & hiking trails. The property was very clean and well-maintained. We highly recommend this villa. Can't wait to go back!!!

Among the Best in the Islands

My family and I enjoyed a tranquil week at this villa in Coral Bay on St. John recently. The appointments were wonderful and the views were outstanding. There is plenty of room for the whole family or group to spread out and all will enjoy the lovely pool and jacuzzi. This is a jewel and close to all the great parts of the island.

Paradise

I have vacationed at the stunning Rainbow Beach Villa twice: The first time was with a group of 9 friends to celebrate college graduation. I could not stay away and recently came back years later for a romantic getaway. There is something mesmerizing about this property that will always drag me back! This property provides everything you could possibly desire: private beach, great pool, hot tub, unbelievable sunsets, star-watching, and an incredible tropical environment. Rainbow Beach is in a great location, close to beautiful beaches and great restaurants, but the best part is you never have to leave home! Rainbow Beach simply has everything you need. Whether i need a week away from the stresses of life and work and i am seeking relaxation, or i am planning a week of island entertainment and fun, this is the place for me. I have recommended this rental to friends and family and everyone has come back with spectacular reviews! I have been to many tropical places, but nothing compares to Rainbow Beach.
