Nancy's Folly Villa - Fabulous Home - overlooking dazzling Rendezvous Bay

  • NOW WITH SOLAR and BATTERY AUTO BACKUP. Nancy’s Folly is located above Rendezvous Bay on the southern shore of St John known for its gentle, continuous breezes. Take in sweeping views of numerous turquoise bays spanning Ram’s Head point on your left to St Croix with its sparkling lights directly in the distance and Boatman Point to your right. Situated in a quiet, exclusive neighborhood only 5 minutes to downtown Cruz Bay (2.25 miles), it is lush with bougainvillea and orchids. Nancy’s Folly is the perfect place to relax while enjoying the soothing sounds of the local coqui and lapping waves below.

    This beautiful home has two bedrooms (one king and one queen), each with A/C, and two baths. The King Bedroom has sliding doors overlooking the bay and an ensuite bathroom featuring a large stone shower. The Queen Bedroom has a comfortable four poster bed and a large shower in the adjoining full bathroom.

    The newly updated breezeway to the entry has only four steps to the pavers surrounded by glorious orchids and an organic herb garden .

    The floor plan of Nancy’s Folly is all on one level, so it’s great for all ages! The Great Room and King Bedroom have smart TVs with Firesticks already loaded with Netflix, Amazon Prime and Peacock/NBC Sports and News, Pandora Music and more. There is free WiFi, indoor and outdoor dining areas, new washer & dryer, hair dryers, beach towels, beach chairs, beach towels, courtesy snorkel equipment, various coolers and more.

    Luxuriously outfitted with 100% cotton Italian bed linens, plush Turkish cotton Bath towels, hair dryer, soap, shampoo and conditioner.

    The spacious 40 foot deck with outdoor teak dining set, conversation seating and comfy lounge chairs is the perfect place to relax after a day of beach exploration or enjoying your morning coffee while watching the local bananaquits flock to the hanging sugar feeder.

    There is a fully stocked kitchen with a new French door refrigerator, gas oven, microwave, toaster, convection toaster oven, blender and dual Drip/Keurig Coffee Maker.

    The cistern water is triple filtered with UV light ensuring clean water at all times.
    A Weber Propane grill on the garden side makes it easy to enjoy dining in-house while the dishwasher makes clean up a breeze.
    Newly installed solar with batter backup and auto switching for continuous electricity service.

    Very private home with quiet onsite manager residing below.

We had a great stay at Nancy’s Folly. Kitchen had everything we needed. The place was very clean and tidy. The deck provided a fantastic view. Elise was very accommodating. She showed us grocery store locations on our way and great suggestions for restaurants.

Serenity in St. John's

My husband, sister-in-law and brother-in-law stayed here for a week in this lovely well equipped rental with a fabulous view overlooking Rendezvous Bay. From the start, Elise was most helpful. We loved every minute here!

A week at Nancy's folly in st john

Place was absolutely perfect for me and my family , couldnt have asked for anything more , location was great not far at all from town or beaches but still quiet the view is amazing Elise was amazing verry helpful ,happy host. When we come back we wont be looking for another place thats for sure .

Beautiful gem of a get away!

This was a beautiful home with everything you could possibly need right at your fingertips! It was sparkling clean and comfortable. Views off the balcony were stunning and the neighborhood was charming and quiet - tucked away from the main areas, but close enough to access the whole island! A beautiful gem of a get away for our family vacation!

Great Place on St John’s

Everything was fantastic on the trip. The location, views, accommodations, especially the nice large kitchen, the long deck and great furniture for lounging and playing cards. Our host was super friendly and informative. Planning to come back next year.

Beautiful island getaway!

This property was outstanding! Spacious, clean, and just breathtaking views. The big porch overlooking the water is so peaceful and relaxing. Elyse made sure we had everything we needed and even had floats and snorkels for our children. When we arrived on the island, Elyse made sure there was someone waiting for us to show us the way to the villa. 5 stars all the way for Nancy's Folly!

Great stay. St John is absolutely amazing. Very clean property. Driveway is a bit tricky but doable. Couple minor issues that were promptly handled. Met us at the ferry to take us to the property which was quite helpful. Overall great stay!

Fantastic

The property was gorgeous. Elise was responsive and helpful. We had an excellent time even with power outages. Elise responded promptly to the outage and ran the generator for us.

More than an excellent value

We are a family of three adults and the house more than met our needs. It is well furnished and comfortable with a gorgeous view. It is situated a few minutes drive to Cruz Bay and grocery stores but far enough away to be peaceful. Communicating with Elise, the property manager, was easy and she was incredibly helpful. We would definitely stay there again having been to St. John five times now.

Just perfect!

My daughter (age 15) and I stayed for a week at Nancy's Folly. It was perfect! The villa was well appointed and had everything we needed and more. We didn't need the AC once, the breeze coming off the ocean was perfect and there's nothing like waking up to a view. The property manager, Elise, was quick to answer any questions. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting St. John.

Beautiful home! Enjoyed our stay so much. The views from the deck and Master are beautiful. The home is very clean and well cared for. Neighborhood so peaceful and quiet. If we are lucky, we will get to visit again! Host is very responsive to questions and answered all my questions with speedy replies! Thank you so much!

Beautiful home and views with expansive deck for sunrise and morning coffee, and late afternoon cocktails after long day exploring the island and beaches. The villa has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Property manager was helpful with anything you needed. We had dinner a few nights at the villa and had everything we needed and more. Spotless and great location

The villa was extremely clean and well maintained. It was actually nicer than the pictures indicate. Great view. Close to Cruz Bay. The contact person who lives downstairs was helpful, informative, and accommodating (and we barely knew she was there). We definitely recommend.

St John vacation

The house was more than we expected. Beautifully decorated. Fresh flowers in vases . Local and historical art work . Everything you needed for beach, snorkel gear, float toys, coolers, beach chairs. Did I mention the view? spectacular.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at Nancy's Folly Villa. Elise coordinated with us to wait for us at the jeep rental place and show us to the rental. She also gave us tips for restaurants and things to do. The location was wonderful, short drive to Cruz Bay, great views. The kitchen was well stocked to cook a few dinners. They had all the beach things we could want: chairs, coolers, flippers, even snorkels. We hope to be back soon!

Pictures don’t do this place justice

This property is absolutely incredible! It’s even nicer in person than it appears in photos. The AC units in the bedrooms work incredibly well and make it very comfortable to sleep at night. The main area can get pretty warm, even with the breeze rolling through, but we were fine with it because we spent most of our time in the villa out on that beautiful patio admiring the view. It’s a steep climb to the villa, but that should be expected in St John. Would absolutely recommend this villa and I can’t wait to return!
