Satori è una villa di 2+ livelli di 2400+ piedi quadrati, costruita nel 2009 e incorpora molte caratteristiche presenti a St. Le migliori ville di John, come una piscina e vasca idromassaggio, aria condizionata centralizzata, terrazze in mattoni antichi, pavimenti in marmo, tegole francesi, una piscina coperta in pietra corallina e una cucina gourmet.

La nostra villa si trova sulla penisola che separa Fish Bay da Reef Bay, sulla sponda sud di St John. Satori si trova a circa 60 piedi sulla collina che domina Fish Bay, esposto a sud-sud-ovest con vista su Fish Bay e sui Caraibi, dolci brezze tropicali e sole tutto il giorno. Questa posizione tranquilla offre anche abbastanza privacy per prendere il sole "abbronzatura discreta". Cruz Bay si trova a 10-15 minuti di auto su strade asfaltate, ad eccezione di mezzo miglio di strada sterrata a Fish Bay.

Gran parte della penisola di Reef Bay / Fish Bay è il Parco Nazionale ed è un'escursione di 5-10 minuti da Satori a una sabbia bianca poco conosciuta, la spiaggia del Parco Nazionale (Cocolobo), dove è probabile che tu sia l'unica persona sulla spiaggia.

Entrambe le camere sono dotate di letti king size in mogano con lenzuola a 500 fili, mobili in mogano, aria condizionata, TV a schermo piatto / DVD con stereo satellitare e predisposto per iPod, ventilatori a soffitto, vasca piastrellata e doccia in travertino. Entrambe le camere hanno anche porte scorrevoli in vetro che si aprono sul ponte e verso sud, mentre la camera ad angolo si affaccia sulla piscina e su Fish Bay.

La piscina di 20 'x 10' si trova sei gradini sotto le camere da letto ed è circondata da una terrazza solarium in pietra corallina di 400 piedi quadrati con mobili in teak e sole dalla mattina fino al tardo pomeriggio. Una vasca idromassaggio molto privata si trova in mezzo ai giardini tropicali sopra la piscina. Satori è una grande villa per gli amanti del sole, ma i ponti coperti consentono anche di rilassarsi all'aperto all'ombra, tenendo d'occhio tutti i bambini in piscina.

In una tranquilla escursione mattutina a Cocolobo Beach per una colazione nuotata e snorkeling e ti troverai in acque turchesi, su una piccola spiaggia caraibica, di solito tutto solo. Lo snorkeling può essere molto buono e potresti vedere alcuni pesci più grandi, ma fai attenzione alla corrente intorno a Cocolobo Cay.

They met us to show us how to get to the villa. The place was clean and very comfortable. Plenty of room for our group. Appreciated that beach chairs and snorkel gear were there. We hope to go back and stay again. Cruz Bay and other places about 15/20 minutes away.

The place was beautiful! Amazing views from the pool & 3 decks. We had everything we needed. Our host Luciah & Jay were extremely helpful with everything. You could walk to a private rocky beach from there with really cool big shells. This place was more reasonable than most & could fit our whole family of 6. It was our first time there & we had a wonderful time.

The host was incredibly welcoming and the location is quiet and private. The house was clean when we arrived. The outdoor patio furniture did not have cushions to be able to use the deck and rooftop sitting area. The pool chlorine level was way too high but let’s be real - we weren’t in St John for the pool. If you plan to cook, bring all seasonings you’ll need with you and a lighter for the grill as the starter doesn’t work and the lighter at the house didn’t work. I did let the host know the back two burners on the kitchen gas stove would not light. I’m not sure how easily that is fixed but certainly limits cooking capacity. Honestly, we would go back for the location, but would know to bring more of the basics that we have typically found provided in other VRBO experiences.

We loved our stay here! The house was exactly as advertised. Our property manager, Luciah, was lovely and attentive, although we didn’t need much because the house had everything we needed. Upon arrival, the house was spotless and the AC had been on in every room so we were nice and cool after a long travel day in hot weather. The AC works everywhere, not just in parts of the house.The location was great, a short drive to downtown. The kitchen had everything we needed and we cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner almost every day. The pool was a huge hit with all of us but especially our toddler. And the house just had good energy, as it’s decorated with beautiful art that helped us reconnect to our mindfulness practice (if you’re into that).

Even Better the second time....

We recently chose to return to this place for a second time, and it truly felt like coming home again to paradise. The scenery around the villa is beautiful, there are pink pinapples growing on the property and different wildlife to watch in their natural habitat.The location of the home is great, it is close to shopping but far enough for privacy and space. It is encouraged to have a vehicle but the roads leading there are paved.The villa itself was immaculate and was refreshed re-painted. It’s evident that great care is taken to maintain the property; everything was clean, from the pool to the interiors. Each room feels like a private space with views of the island's natural beauty or the beautifully placed pool.In terms of amenities, the villa is fully equipped with everything you need. From high-quality kitchenware to comfortable sheets, every household item was available and in good condition. We appreciated the attention to detail, having beach towels/chairs, coolers, toys and snorkel gear readily available made our beach days even more enjoyable. The convenience of having all the essentials meant we could just grab what we needed and goSt. John itself never fails to impress we go every year sometimes twice, its beautiful beaches and chill atmosphere keep you coming back. It’s hard not to fall in love with this island.We recommend this place to family and friends.See you soon Luciah, Husband and Satori because we still didnt find the hidden beach !!

Nice quiet area. 10 min drive to downtown and close enough to beaches. Sleeps 4 not 6. Pull out couch mattress is old and not usable. TV was broken, though not really needed. Beautiful house and pool. Only 1 swing

Lovely Villa

Nice location. Short drive from the ferry. We enjoyed the pool and outside seating areas. The amenities were great and there is literally everything that we could imagine readily available. There is also a beach within walking distance. The host was extremely welcoming and gave great tips to get around the island. They even accomodated us during our missed flight home and that is why we will be back in the very near future. We definitely would recommend for families and adult get aways Thank you again for hosting us.

Quiet and delightful, with lots of birds.

This house deserves a better rating here on VRBO. We loved our stay, there were lots of birds to watch (we brought binoculars), lizards in trees, deer wandering through etc. The pool was nice and deep, and very refreshing after adventuring. We checked out the trail to Cocolobo, which is full of interesting shells. We also walked from this house to the Petroglyphs! What an adventure. Bring a lunch if you do the same. There were a few small issues with the cooking equipment but the host was very responsive and friendly. As other visitors have noted, there is no longer a hot tub which shows in older versions of this listing. You won't miss it with the pool and ample sunshine.

This was our 4th time visiting St John first time on this side of island. It was probably a 15 minute ride to Cruz bay, very quiet area overlooking a preserve. The highlight of the 3days spent here was the Scarlet Ibis in flight. Unfortunately the thing that attracted us to the property was a hot tub, there is NO hot tub! Not a working one anyway. While the home itself is adorable we found furnishings to be dated and worn, the grill did not work. We did reach out to property manager response was quick but lacking …? We would not stay here again.

Birding from the balcony

This property was perfect for us. There were 2 large master suites and decks everywhere. The decks overlook the bay and a wetlands that was right below the house. We would have coffee in the morning and bird watch in the wetlands. Some of the birds we saw were;Scarlet Ibis, Egret, Heron, White Cheek Ducks, Sandover, Black Neck Stilt and many more.
