Lontano dal trambusto della città, Southern Exposure offre agli ospiti la tranquillità e il conforto che porta le persone a St. John. La casa può ospitare comodamente fino a 6 persone in 3 camere da letto, ognuna con il proprio bagno. Nuova unità AC divisa nella grande stanza, unità AC finestra in ogni camera da letto.

Il layout al piano di sopra / al piano inferiore offre due zone giorno separate e spaziose con ampi ponti, quindi questa casa è perfetta per famiglie con bambini o gruppi separati di coppie che desiderano un po 'di spazio privato. La piscina sul ponte rialzato, è circondata da bellissime pareti in pietra nativa e corallo e una serie di bouganville colorate, fiori allemande, ibiscus e palme.

Southern Exposure offre panoramica St. John osserva l'oceano e scambia le brezze del vento. Vi è un secondo ponte coperto di livello inferiore che offre pasti e posti a sedere nella camera familiare inferiore.

Best vacation ever

I love the island of St. John. We had not been back in about 10 years, and had never been in the Fish Bay area. We loved the house and staying on this side of the island. The view was amazing and peaceful, and the house was everything we needed. We would definitely stay again.

St. John beauty

We had a fabulous trip to St. John. Southern Exposure had many amenities and items that we weren't hassled with needing to purchase (detergent, dish soap, etc.). We had never been to St. John and were a bit surprised to not be able to flush toilet paper, but ended up not being as bad as we thought it would be. The view of Fish Bay was tremendous and the outside deck and pool were such a fun way to end the day. We would recommend this place.

Great location

This was our 5th time to St. John. The location of this Villa is not too far from either end of the Island. The views and privacy are amazing. The kitchen is lacking nothing for any meal you want to prepare. The whole house is comfortable and inviting after a full day at the beach. I will definitely come back!

Beautiful setting

Southern exposure was a great house for our family. It was my husband and myself and our daughters and their partners. The house is on multiple levels and gave everyone their own space. The house is well appointed with everything you needed. We cooked dinner several nights and the kitchen had everything including spices and plenty of containers for leftovers and using at the beach. There were beach chairs, towels and snorkel equipment. One of the chairs was broken and the property manager replaced it. The house is a great location less than 15 minutes to Cruz Bay, easy to get to north shore beaches and the views of Fish Bay were spectacular! The check in was great and the property manager was really flexible with our meeting time and place before she escorted us to the house. The house was really comfortable for our family and we thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent at the house. The description of the house should indicate that the third bedroom is not connected to the downstairs bedroom and living room on the lower level. Access to the third bathroom is either through the sliding doors on the lower level deck or up and around into the front door of the lower level.

Great Island Time

This house was beautiful and well supplied. It had plenty of bath towels, beach towels, dishes and cookware, and comfortable beds. The air conditioning is wall-mounted and controlled with a remote.The stairs between floors are exterior only, which makes it feel like 2 separate units--great for privacy. A turtle lives under the porch. The laundry and both indoor showers are downstairs, though the outdoor shower upstairs was pleasant and private. The upstairs living space was a great gathering spot for evening movies and dinner. The pool is deeper than it looks in the pictures, and if you have small children this could be a concern. There are stairs from the driveway to the house, so I would not recommend this property for wheelchair users. The driveway is steep and curves on the left side but not the right; I backed down with the driver's door open.The WiFi was out for the island for part of our stay. The property manager stayed in touch with updates.General advice: I should have checked a bag for groceries, a collapsible beach shelter, bug repellent, and reef-safe sunscreen, all of which are extremely expensive with limited choices on the island. There are many restaurants; some of these are shockingly pricey for the quality of the food. We preferred Dolphin Market in Coral Bay for groceries. If you are at the beach a bit early, you can find parking. St. John is a great place for unique adventures. Don't be afraid to try something new!

Wonderful Visit - Perfect for Two Senior Couples

Southern Exposure was a perfect fit for two senior couples. Plenty of space, privacy, large decks, nice landscaping, dipping pool, well stocked kitchen/pantry and great views. My wife and I stayed on the spacious 2nd floor and spent most of our socializing time on the 3rd floor cooking and hanging out inside or on the exterior porch. Tammy arranged to have a driver meet us at the Cruz Bay car ferry to lead us to the property. This is highly recommended as a first time drive to the villa in the dark is not recommended due to twisty, narrow and steep uphill/downhill roads and spotty cell phone coverage. Navigation and driving were fine once we were settled and accustomed to the local area. From the villa, it's about a 16 minute drive to Cruz Bay and another 11 minutes to Trunk Bay area. If you plan to visit the north shore beaches, go early. The only (minor) inconveniences: (1) mosquitos were a challenge at dusk/evening. We failed to use a repellent and paid the price in multiple itchy bites. (2) The pool has a slow leak and someone would come by daily to add additional water. (3) The septic system is delicate and signs are posted requesting that toilet paper not be flushed (4) the 2nd floor had a strong odor from either cleaning/fragrance. This was addressed by opening the patio doors and running the ceiling fans. I managed to jam up the patio doors and Tammy and team responded quickly via text. Overall a wonderful stay and looking forward to another visit.

Great house for a getaway

We stayed right at the end of the season and had a fantastic time. Lots of items included to use at the beach (chairs, noodles, coolers). Big deck where you can see a million stars on clear nights. We were not too far from 104 which lets you get to the north shore pretty easily and is right down the road from Cruz Bay. Our host met us right after we got a rental jeep and took us to the house. Three king beds on different levels so it was great for bigger kids Big open room and kitchen on the main floor for trying stay awake after dinner and a day of snorkeling.

Just What We Needed

The villa was absolutely perfect for what we needed. Great deck with view and breeze. Only reason I gave cleanliness a 4 is because the pool was never cleaned during our stay. One other thing to keep in mind is that one of the bedrooms downstairs does not have a connecting bathroom, you have to go outside and around to use the inside lower level bathroom. Wasn’t an issue for us but could be for others. We would definitely stay there again. Everyone we spoke to was extremely helpful and pleasant.

Breathtaking views in a private & Peaceful setting

💯 We would book here again! -Adorable sprawling property /home with breathtaking views and sweet garden areas. -Super communication with Property Manger and Liaison. -Peaceful & private location away from all of the bustle of other more populated areas. -We had more than everything we needed including new zone controlled air conditioning so everyone could be comfortable. -Well furnished inside and out. We all slept like babies. -We enjoy culinary and had everything we needed for food prep.

A not-quite-perfect week in paradise

We had a great vacation week at this villa on beautiful St. John. The check-in process was smooth thanks to Dyana, our greeter, and Tammy, our real estate agent was readily accessible, but never intrusive. The villa was clean and well stocked with towels, linen, basic kitchen pots, pans and utensils. The pool was great, and the view is beautiful. The available snorkeling equipment was a definite bonus. The two drawbacks are the layout of the unit and the unreliable power/water supply. The listing does not clearly mention that the upstairs is not connected to the downstairs from the inside, or that the third bedroom does not have inside access to a bathroom. In both cases occupants have to go outside for access, which is an annoyance at night and when it is raining. This information is technically included in the listing, but is apparent only upon careful scrutiny of the floorplan. Additionally, while the unreliability of WAPA, the local water and power company is legendary and beyond anyone's control, a generator would have helped us manage through the multiple power outages and concomitant loss of water, the worst of which lasted over twelve hours. All things considered, the villa worked very well and the climate, natural beauty and warmth of the St. Johnians are unparalleled.

Perfect escape

We planned a last minute trip and we’re blessed to book this comfortable and affordable house on the hill. The house beautifully met our needs. Plenty of room upstairs and down and especially on the outdoor deck. Everything worked beautifully for us. Delightful privacy. Delightful views. Tammy and Dyana were remarkably responsive and helpful. Our two small problems were resolved almost immediately. We were a little concerned that the king bedroom downstairs had no indoor access to a bathroom. After one night our worries were appeased. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs and the grill worked perfectly. We were comfortable with the ceiling fans and breezes. AC in the bedrooms was a benefit, but not necessary.

Beautiful views

This house has a beautiful 180 degree unobstructed view of Fish Bay and the surrounding area with a large deck to enjoy! The house was very well stocked in all rooms and included beach chairs, coolers, beach towels, etc.. The house decor is out of date and there were a few minor maintenance items; however, they did not negatively impact our stay. Our wifi router went bad, but the property mgmt team fixed it right away. The property managers were great and responsive. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great place to stay

Absolutely stunning view with what seems to be three separate rooms but close enough for everyone to get together. Great stay and would highly recommend to friends.

Best vacation ever

The house was beautiful, super clean, the outdoor shower and the pool absolutely made our stay. The huge deck was key to keeping our 3 little kids entertained. And the view was ridiculous, we even got to see some dolphins from the deck. Tammy and our greeter were very helpful and welcoming, even the pool guy was lovely! We can’t wait to come back.

Great property

Everything was great. One thing that was a negative for us was that one of the rooms, the bugs were able to keep coming in. Lots of bug bites. The other rooms seemed to not have any issues. The location, view, staff, everything else was on point. Would stay there again.

PERFECT

The house was great. Everything was in working order. The furniture and beds were comfortable. The whole place was clean.The view was spectacular. The manager, Tammy and the greeter, Dyana were wonderful. A nice man even stopped to check on the pool. We felt we were taken care of very well.
