Almost Paradise
Great location, we were poolside and close to the beach. pecifically selected 2 rooms, 1 w/a King and 1/w a Queen. Unhappy to arrive and have 2 double beds. Kitchen is NOT fully equipped. No bowls (ate cereal out of a coffee mug), no colander (we did get one delivered). Only 4 small glasses-no tumblers or wine glasses. We locked out of the unit 2x. Once staff had to drill off the lock as the mechanism failed and completely replace it. 3 days later the batter failed for the key card, so maintenance came again. Would have been hilarious except both times it was after 9pm. Fun free activities like wine and beer tasting, pool beer toss, karaoke etc

Overall excellent
The Westin has nice, clean amenities. They use golf carts to get guests around their property. We stayed in a two bedroom unit. It was clean and updated. It had a very comfortable bed. The resort has a pool with activities, beachfront with chairs, umbrellas, a restaurant, rest rooms, complimentary water sports, tennis, pickleball, basketball, work out rooms, Starbucks and small grocery items. St John has beautiful warm weather during the winter months. Delicious restaurants, a fun downtown area with live music, and several beaches to visit. We’ll be back!

Holiday vacation
Views from this unit are great, right on the beach. Unit itself is a good size, updated moderately. There was no cleaning service or room service however, which for the price was a bit of a bummer. We were a family of 4 and nightly we had throw out the garbage or little ants would appear in the kitchen. You leave the garbage out side your door and if no one picks it up animals tear through it and leave a giant mess. Also the second bedroom did not have a window or additional point of exit so for safety reasons that was a bit off, it was all the way around the back. The washer/dryer was next to it, if there was a fire you would be trapped....poor planning for sure. The resort is really stunning. Only one restaurant is open however and the food is average at best. Everything is extremely expensive. Staff is wonderful. Spa is closed. easy access to town or national park beaches by taxi. The ease of staying at a resort versus a private home is definitely a plus but amenties were all not there. The beach is pretty much private.

We enjoyed staying here. The employees were great, the location (this unit in particular) was PERFECT, and it was clean and nicely decorated. We were provided with everything we needed for the stay.

Great set up
We loved renting a villa at the Westin. The inside of the villas seem brand new, and a very comfortable with great beds/showers/etc. The Westin has a great setup going for families with little kids and we loved being able to go back and forth from the beach to the pool. The extra water activities and scheduled boat tours were so fun! Definitely recommend!

Westin Saint John is back!
Love staying at the Westin on Saint John. Double cat 5 hurricanes and yet the people have remained steadfast and rebuilt this beautiful island and resort! The Westin is clean, gorgeous and the staff is friendly, as always. Perfect getway spot for families as the units have full kitchens for calm nights in. The pool and poolside restaurant are also nice. Free usage of kayaks and paddles boards at the Westin is a plus. Private beach with amenities is also a good option but so many other beaches to check out on the island...the best we’ve seen in the Caribbean. Would recommend for anyone.
