“Always a favorite of mine when I visit Grand Junction!”

“From the start we had some hiccups. There is no front desk, no one working on site. Check in was through text which wasn’t sent when called the number the bar offered us it was an AI person which roughly took us 30 mins standing in the sun outside the locked front door. Once in the room was cute, nice with a wet bar too. The bathroom door slammed shut which left it smelling musty and poopy inside. We went to dinner enjoyed a concert and walked back to the end of our night. Once ready for bed...

“Abbiamo trascorso qui una notte, camera spaziosa e pulita, con moquette a terra. Due letti Queen comodi e con lenzuola morbidissime. Bagno piccino, ma pulito. Lavandino in stanza, non in bagno. Colazione buona: uova strapazzate, pancetta, patate, pancake, succhi di frutta, caffè. Di dolce solo cornflakes e pancake (però erano buoni). Negativo: insonorizzazione della stanza: non sentivo parlare, ma sentivo tutti quelli che camminavano nell'hotel. Ogni passo uno scricchiolio.”

“Great location with a short walk to Main st. Enjoyed evening walks in pieceful and lovely neighbourhood with colourful houses. Lots of parking space so no trouble finding parking. The host vas very quick to respond to our question when we couldn’t get the wifi to work (correct wifi password is on the wall of the apartment!). “Ci siamo fermati a Grand Junction perché abbiamo preso il California zephyr da Denver. Viaggio in treno in mezzo alle montagne rocciose. Da qui proseguiamo in auto. Ho prenotato l’auto presso l’aeroporto L’hotel ci ha trasportato gratuitamente con una navetta all’aeroporto. Molto gentili. L’autista John veramente gentile e simpatico ”

“Pros: Enjoyed a cocktail at the reception desk, a really nice experience after a long drive. Nice location, easy walking distance to town. Good Mexican food at Felix’s. Mattress, towels, linens, soap, shampoo etc all high-quality. Great light but satisfying breakfast: yogurt parfait, good coffee. Cons: Receptionist was efficient though not terribly friendly. Air conditioner was noisy enough that it affected our sleep. It’s something I mentioned to the owners via a text that they never responded...

“Only half the TV stations worked. One employee just blew me off and the other one the next day said she called comcast but nothing came of it. The guest computers didn't have internet and couldn't print. When asked about it, was also just placated.”

“For a roadside motel this was above average, but not worthy of the rave reviews that brought me to stay here. It appears to be more of a bicyclists overnight stop. There is no early check-in unless you count the 30 minutes if you register yourself online. Staff arrived promptly at 3:30. For unknown reasons we were given a room with a swivel-in seat in the bathtub (like the one my 93 year old mother uses.) I took it out and used it as a luggage rack.
