“The Humphry Inn is a great value in the heart of Winnipeg and is within walking distance of many of the major sites. Our guest room was roomy and comfortable. The parking lot was full, but a space was always available during our four night stay. The parking fee was reasonable for a city location. Breakfast was adequate and more fresh fruit would have been appreciated. The building facade is handsome, however, the poor condition of the flags detract. “The whole third floor including my room smelled terrible. Like too many sweaty people in a stuffy, humid environment. For the $270/night I paid, I would have hoped for a nicer stay. The bathrooms are very dated and could be cleaner. There are next to no plug ins available for charging, and nowhere to plug in a laptop or phone in the vicinity of the desk.”

“GREAT food, extremely helpful staff. Expedia overcharged us - simply because we wanted to ensure a later refund period. Bed was comfortable, but we're getting sick of hotels that are too cheap to buy fitted king size sheets. FLAT sheets don't work on king size beds, and the staff insist on doing strange things like tucking in on the sides, BUT NOT THE FEET! TV was the worst picture I have seen on a hotel/motel TV since 1977 (plus, the remote was very limited in functionality); TV's date showed...
