Hotel vicino a St. Paul's Anglican Church - Halifax

“Got in the elevator, pressed my floor, nothing happened, continued to press my floor and no response. Had to use the open button to get out. Had to use two different sets of stairs to get to the 7th floor. Room was nice but layout did not make sense, tv did not pull out to face the bed it could only be moved a bit to one side. Staff was incredible, very nice and helpful, just wasn't a fan of those two things having a small fear of elevators in the first place”

“A great place to stay for solo travellers. Beautiful surroundings. Have excellent connectivity to the city attractions via buses, bike rides also 20 mins walk to the downtown. Only improvement could have be made was regular housekeeping services in shower room.”

“Nice location, there’s a pub next door and a few cafes along the street. Walking distance to citadel. Room was clean but we did found a mouse on our last night. There’s no hair dyer in the washroom. They also don’t recommend drinking the tap water but no drinking water is provided, you have to buy bottled water from them. Fire station is along the street so if you’re sensitive to the noise just keep that in mind”

“Perfect stay. Lovely front desk staff, spacious clean modern rooms. Terrific breakfast with lots of choices. Ric does a great job making sure breakfast is well stocked and fresh. The La Rouge restaurant on site is a nice place to have dinner as well.”

“Great stay close to Dartmouth Crossing for shopping and food. The evening restaurant menu was limited and not very good. Overall, a good stay and good value. ”

“The restaurant they show on picture is not there's, no , breakfast included, no water bottel in room or at reception. Gym has two treadmills both not working , gym is very very small not enough space workout.”

“I chose this hotel because I had family at the Hospital and all downtown hotels charged you for parking! I appreciated the microwave and was thrilled to see a tub mat in the bathroom. Decor is somewhat dated and I wish there was a hot option for breakfast but overall I was pleased with the accommodation and the room rate.”
