Very difficult to get from parked car to unit. High steps from street level need railing, had to open gate to drive in to unload but sign said do not open gate. Best thing was location close to activities.

Enjoyed our stay. Comfortable and convenient. Room was clean and the patio was pleasant. Toilet flushed slow sometimes and gurgled some. Might need to be looked into.

The acorn cottage was very cozy and nice to stay in. It appears somewhat small from the outside but it is nicely put together with a moderately sized bathroom, large bed, and an open dining/common area. The amenities were very nice and we used the grill, toaster oven, fridge, and dishes extensively. The outdoor shared area was much better than expected and was very enjoyable to relax in the mornings/evenings. We would recommend staying here, though our group would love to stay at the palm cottage if possible. Lauren was a very informative and helpful property manager and helped address all of our needs!

Simple stay

We didn't need much and weren't staying for a long time. This place is small, but was fine for us. If you follow the directions everything is pretty easy to enjoy the accommodations. We were able to walk downtown or drive if we wanted. Nice to be able park in a nice parking lot close to the living area. Patio is nice and we didn't use the grill but its close to the living quarters. We had a great time and will definitely consider renting again when in the area.

First thing, tried to communicate with owners about changing the room we had reserved to their larger accommodations. They replied once but ghosted me on the second question I had. Texted again a month later (3 days b4 arriving) to see if we could check in early the day of arrival. Wanted to charge $40 to hold room. Got there, couldn't unlock door. Texted, was told we weren't even trying to unlock the door, when you know darn well, they were watching on cameras. Second day asked how to exchange towels was told "We don't do that either, sorry. It's not really like a hotel" Also got this weird 2 pg. "Welcome Info" email w/ck in info, directions, Wifi info, etc (usual stuff). But the paragraph about "avoiding damages was odd, to say the least. Rules about the towels being stained and the cost if stained (the towels were thread baren and restitched from a towel cut in half. PLUS, WE WERE EXPECTED TO USE THE SAME TOWEL, WASH CLOTH AND HAND TOWEL FOR 8 DAYS...GROSE! Where to put the trash was totally confusing when all that was needed to be said was which street to put it on. Would have been nice to know that only Roku TV was provided. We don't have a Roku password. Hence, no TV. The toaster oven was nasty, and the door would not stay shut. The bed was like a giant marshmallow, way too difficult to even roll over in. let alone try and get out of. The hot tub was falling apart, lid of tub sinking into the tub. NASTY! Plus, the construction next door, dusty, difficult parking.

It was perfect for the two of us. Easy to find, safe area. Conveniently located close to historic Tarpon Springs which gave us a great afternoon of walking the shops and enjoying lunch on the water.

The location is not even close to the water front view. That photo is around 10 blocks from the property. Shower is not working properly. Place really clean and rich on details but the location is not related to the photos.

This property was perfect for two guests on a weekend trip. Location was great with easy access to shopping and dining. My only complaint would be if you could possibly have a trash can for renters to use that is closer. Smallest complaint ever. LOL Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Cute Getaway

The Acorn cottage is a cute (very small) space that has everything one or two people would need for a short getaway. It’s clean and comfortable and the courtyard is beautifully landscaped and a nice place to sit and relax. It’s close to great food and fun in Tarpon Springs and the neighborhood is very quiet at night. The only downside is that it’s located next to city hall and there is currently construction going on at city hall so it’s noisy on weekdays, but that’s not a problem if you don’t plan to sleep in late. Overall it’s a great place to stay and we would definitely stay there again.

What an adorable place. Perfect for solo traveling. Place had everything you needed. Coffee facilitiess for morning. Fridge worked well. Bed very comfortable. Easy to walk to downtown or the sponge docks. Only a few blocks. Parking easy. Such a nice landscaped courtyard to sit out. Quiet and felt safe. Recommend.
