Get-Away # 2, Costa del Golfo

This lovely bungalow is newly renovated and equipped with everything you need to enjoy an unforgettable beach vacation. Outside, you can lounge in the private backyard, boasting a lush tropical paradise, grill, table and chairs, and washer/dryer. In the front yard, beautiful pavers provide ample parking for vacationers and their guests. Step inside, and you’ll notice the stylish furnishings and lovely beach decor throughout. The living room provides plenty of cozy seating and a sofa converts to a queen sleeper for weekend visitors. Your dining room and passthrough kitchen are light and bright, featuring updated appliances and fully equipped for meal prep and gatherings with family or friends. Down the hall, you'll appreciate the work station for those who need to stay connected remotely. And the primary bedroom is large and surrounded by windows, featuring its own TV and easy access to the charming backyard. A second bedroom also boasts its own TV as well as a comfy queen bed. Most importantly, all the charm of St Pete Beach is within walking distance and easily accessible. Nestled on a quiet street yet so close to Corey Ave, lively beach bars, and many restaurants not to mention miles of sandy beaches, you’ll soon fall in love with this perfect Gulf Coast Getaway.

Beach Living:
It’s time to live the beach life. Your beach bungalow is located just a short walk from world famous St. Pete Beach's strand on the Gulf of Mexico. Recently selected as the country’s top beach destination and renowned for its jaw-dropping sunsets, St Pete Beach makes for an ideal vacation getaway. Only blocks away are boat rentals, para-sailing, stand up paddle boards, fishing, dolphin watch cruises, jet skis, kayaks and almost any watersport imaginable.

Dining:
Recommended local dining includes Jimmy B’s Beach Bar and Bistro which features free sunset shooters and live music - every night. Also try Basil Leaf, Agave Mexican Restaurant, Snappers, 1200 Chop House, Sola Bistro and Wine Bar, and Chill. All are accessible on foot or by bike.

Entertainment:
Visit historic Corey Ave where you will find specialty shops, dog groomers, dining all day and into the evening as well as a fresh market on Sundays. Or take a Trolley into downtown St. Petersburg and peruse the Salvador Dali Museum of Fine Arts and take in a Broadway play at the Mahaffey Theater of Performing Arts. Stroll along Beach Drive where you can dine at one of several five star restaurants or enjoy shopping and gelato.   • Oh Nom! for whatever reason the dining room was empty when we walked in. The ambiance & service was charming enough (I particularly enjoyed them showing "Teen Wolf") & the sushi rolls were a great value--the veggie rolls are to be missed but hey we are in the south-->it's always a gamble when your vegetarian appetizer isn't fried :)

Everything was actually much better than expected. The owner Rick and Kelly/Josh Strom set the gold standard for vacation rentals. Lovely setting. Nice to get to know the St Pete Beach Fl community. Better than staying in a hotel/motel. Our favorite pastime was sitting on the porch and talking to everyone walking by with their pooches too. The AC units were outstanding. Great Stay walking distance to the beach!

We had a great 6-week stay at this adorable and cozy house! The backyard is absolutely stunning and so seren. There are a ton of good restaurants and bars walking distance from the house and the beach is very close to walk to as well (under a 10 min walk). The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. Rick (the owner), Kelly (the property manager) were quick to respond to us when needed and very friendly! Would definitely recommend to stay here, just one thing to callout is that one of the bedrooms doesn't have a door it's a privacy curtain, but overall it was the perfect place to visit!

Best family beach vacation EVER

The house itself is adorable. Every inch of it is literally picture-perfect and thoughtful in its design and stock to ensure your visit is care-free and enjoyable. I took so many photos while we stayed. I was with my husband and my 9 year old son and 12 year old daughter. And even our siamese cat was welcomed! We stayed for a few weeks. The house accommodates a family perfect. The master bedroom is large enough that this home would be ideal for families with infants who room-in, too. There is a small sofa in the master and plenty of for a portable crib. The second bedroom worked perfectly for our tween daughter. And there is another full bed hidden in the living room sofa! The storage in this house is amazing. The way things are so well organized and set-up makes it easy to feel at home. Most the essentials are provided and very easy to find. Everything was very thoughtful by design. No details missed. The owner welcomed us himself and the property manager was amazing and helpful. We arrived and felt immediately "home." The garden in the back is its own paradise. That's not an exaggeration. The joy of drinking my coffee in the garden is going to be sorely missed. I even enjoyed doing laundry because I got to go out back! I truly can't explain how beautiful this house is ( inside and out.) I definitely reccomend it to anyone looking for a family vacation where your kids will WANT to put their phones down and spend quality time together in a serene welcoming environment. Or even a romantic getaway with your spouse. Or both! And its true that you can walk and enjoy the best of St Pete beach just down the street. We walked to the beach and a different restruant and destination every day. It took us 4 minutes to walk to the beach. The neighbors are friendly and the neighborhood is full of houses that capture the image you hold In your mind when you daydream of the beach. This is a MUST STAY for anyone looking for a beach daydream come true.

This was our fourth year here. The unit is comfortable, with in walking distance to the beach and restaurants and a lovely patio. The patio is also private from the other unit. A nice privacy fence and landscaping.

Cozy Retreat near beach

LOVE this place! We were fortunate to spend two fantastic months at this little gem! It's in a great location on quiet street one block off the main thoroughfare, one block from the marina and three from the beach. Easy walk to popular Upham Beach, restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream palors, etc. The place itself is rather simple, in my favorite, Old Florida style. The backyard is a little sanctuary - a private, fenced and lushly landscaped retreat ideal for grilling, sunset suppers and cocktails. Another one of our favorite features of the property is the generous closet space. We were able to unpack all of clothes and still have room for suitcases and work, athletic, pet and reading materials. The property manager and owner were very responsive and on top of everything. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and recommend it to others.

This property is a wonderful place to stay in St Pete Beach. Very clean and inviting. This was our third year of staying here and is a great place to stay. It was a great place for our dog too. The patio is surrounded by a privacy fence and nicely landscaped. I highly recommend this property.

St. Pete Beach stay

Great location for walks to the beach, the Corey Ave market, and restaurants. The space was clean and well-cared for. Kelly responded very quickly to help with an issue with the microwave. Although there were 2 bedrooms, it would be fine for a family but was a bit cramped for us and a friend who was travelling with us.

Road construction and baby snakes

Property was as pictured. However there was extensive road blockages and construction all around us on the street. In addition, I found small baby snakes 2 different times in the back master bedroom. Manager would not move me despite having my dog with me and caring for my new grandson. Offered to exterminate but did not as far as I know. I was afraid of what chemicals would be used to exterminate.

We were very comfortable in this two unit bungalow.

The place was just what we wanted. It was clean, within walking distance to the beach and several very nice restaurants. Our son and friend came down for a long weekend during our stay. We were glad we had two bedrooms so it was a comfortable stay for them. We didn’t have to us the sofa bed. Kelly, the manager of the property, came by to see how everything was. She even had a bottle of wine waiting for us on our arrival. She was in the area, so if we needed anything, we didn’t have to wait. We have already booked this property for February 2019 and March 2020. Shopping for our groceries was a short distance from the bungalow too! It was nice that the backyard had a privacy fence. We used the grill several times and spent time on the patio. . The property was well kept and having the privacy fence not only around the whole property but also between the units gave us extra privacy. There were a washer and dryer for our use shared with the other unit. We loved our stay and cannot express how happy we were staying there for the month of March. Our dog was even happy staying there. The owner also stopped by. It was also nice to talk with him. He said he was going to buy new appliances for the kitchen and some other improvements. We look forward to our next stay. Thanks Kelly for everything.

Great condo just minutes walk to the beach and great seafood

This condo has everything one needs for a longer stay in St Pete Beach. First, the price is right and second, the location is fantastic. We stayed for a month and were very comfortable. Wifi works great, bed is comfy, kitchen is well stocked and there is a nice big grill out back. Although because of the location, we almost always ate out. Lots of parking and a spacious backyard for the dogs to explore. If I have to point out a negative, the bathroom is a little small, but that's really it. We had a great stay!

Beautiful bungalow get away

We really enjoyed this little beach bungalow! Very clean and comfortable and close distance to many nice restaurants and public beaches. Kelly left us a bottle of wine and some bottled water which was very thoughtful. Perfect place for a romantic weekend or a family get away:)
