  • Meravigliosamente nascosto nel tessuto del centro c'è il Village Hideaway II di Dianne. Situato tra Porch, il nuovo ristorante Nashville Hot Chicken and Catfish e uno dei locali preferiti, il ristorante Mullet Bay, si trova questa favolosa dimora in alto sopra Ocean Boulevard. Cammina per tutti i migliori negozi, parchi, ristoranti e il famoso molo di pesca alla fine di Mallory Street. Non devi nemmeno salire in macchina! La scala aperta conduce al 2 ° piano invitante balcone privato dove è possibile sorseggiare un tè freddo o un bicchiere di vino mentre vi godete la brezza o ascoltando la vita del villaggio. Un'enorme, ariosa cucina completa ancora la zona giorno con due camere da letto e due bagni splendidamente rinnovati situati al secondo piano, accessibili tramite una scala a chiocciola.  La struttura vanta anche una lavatrice e asciugatrice full size, smart TV e internet super veloce. Questa è una scoperta incredibile.

Amazing location

The property was even more spacious than expected, and everything we did around town was a walkable distance from the condo. We loved our stay and would absolutely book again!

Amazing location

Opening weekend of college football in St.Simons is a tradition of ours, and our stay at the Ocean Tabby was perfectly located to accommodate our needs! Great condo within walking distance to everything!

Awesome location!

Very clean and nice place to stay. The owner came by to make sure we had everything we needed and she was super nice!! Everything was within walking distance. Will definitely stay there again.

Property was exactly like the pictures and as described. It was in walking distance to everything. We had three generations staying there and it was wonderful. Highly recommend this place

Great location in St Simons

Spacious 2 bedroom in the middle of everything. This was our first trip to St Simons. We would definitely stay there again. Great chicken next door at The Porch.

Great Location!

My family and I (2 adults, 3 children and 2 infants) stayed at this location and it is so convenient. You are able to walk to the pier, light house, shops and restaurants! We had everything we needed right their in town including beach access! It was such a great place to stay and the host made it so easy to get in touch if any issues or questions were to arise!

Great location and perfect size

This unit was located in the perfect location where we could walk to the downtown area and parks. It was perfectly sized for our party of 3 (two adults, one tween). The Wi-Fi worked great as did the television. None of the rooms felt cramped; their was plenty of space for each person as well as all our things.

Restaurant noise

Well appointed unit, comfortable stay. Between the hours of 4:30 - 5:30 am and 9:00-10:00 each night, there was enough noise to wake us from loading / unloading at The Porch restaurant next door. Other than that all went well.

Close to everything

It was our first trip to SSI. The condo was walking distance to everything we wanted. We enjoyed relaxing on the upstairs deck during our downtime from our trips to the beach..The noise from the restaurant we shared a parking lot with did not bother us since it closed at 9 PM. We plan to book again.

Excellent

My wife and I returned to St. Simons for our first anniversary because of the pace of life and the politeness of the people that live there. This VRBO was absolutely excellent. It was very clean, very well priced, the location was excellent. You have a reserved parking spot. You can walk to any number of amazing dining spots (Palmers village cafe, and Porch are our favorites for casual and crabdaddys for a more sit down atmosphere) You can’t go wrong with a place like this.

5/5 – Great Location, Perfect for Families (with a small note)

Ocean Tabby 2 is in a fantastic location—just steps from the beach and close to everything you’d want on St. Simons Island. The house is clean, well-equipped, and spacious enough for a comfortable family stay. The layout is great for gathering, and the outdoor space was a nice bonus.It’s an ideal spot for families with older kids or adults, but be aware that the circular staircase between levels might be tricky for toddlers or anyone with mobility concerns. Aside from that, everything was easy, relaxed, and enjoyable.Would definitely stay here again—great value, great spot!

Great Location in the Village

The location was amazing and right in the heart of the village and next door to one of our favorite restaurants (we ended up eating 3 meals at Porch while we were there). Because it shares a parking lot with the restaurant, guests should expect a higher level of traffic and noise as restaurant employees are pretty regular back and forth in front of the property. The added traffic was a small price to pay for a great location, though.

Great location

We had a nice time at the condo. It was very clean and well maintained. The property management company did a great job with communication and information. The stairs are a bit hard to manage with luggage so we used the purple steps to each bedroom for ease and convenience. In all the location and quality of place was worth the cost. Would like a bigger outdoor grill to use. The location next to an ice-cream store was something my kids enjoyed. You can easily walk to many restaurants and stores. Really safe and friendly area.

Great Stay

Overall our stay was wonderful. Like other review mentioned there was noise from the restaurant but it was not worse than living in a busy apartment. I think adding some curtains to the windows could help this tremendously. My only complaint is that there is not a deadbolt on the main door.

Awesome location, would stay again!

Awesome location! Literally right at the Porch! Perfect for walking to the beach and restaurants, shopping. Very clean and nice. Would not hesitate to recommend or stay again. Check-in/out super easy. Easy Reserved parking 1-spot so if you have more than 1 vehicle, you might need to plan.

Overall great time at a good location

Having read the previous reviews, we came equipped with white noise apps, which tremendously helped with the outside, restaurants noise in the early morning. This location cannot be beat for access to restaurants, parks, pier. We had a slight issue due to some storms and the management company responded right away. The only downside was sharing limited parking with the other unit and the restaurant. Overall, a great time at a good location.

Excellent St. Simons Vacation Rental

We enjoyed a perfect 6 nights in this very spacious and comfortable apartment. The living area downstairs includes a well equipped kitchen, a utility/laundry room spacious enough to store luggage and beach paraphernalia. Big plus is a kitchen door that opens on a fenced side yard, perfect for storing more water toys, grilling and also for pets to “keep an eye on the neighborhood” There is some noise associated with the Porch restaurant next door- mostly with early morning deliveries and employee prep at start and end of day. We are early risers anyway - so it was no big deal, and the employees were always very courteous and friendly. The two bedrooms upstairs are spacious and comfortable as well and each has its own bathroom. Each bedroom has a tv as does the downstairs, so very easy to keep folks entertained on those rainy days. An outdoor seating veranda is also accessed from these bedrooms. There is an exterior stair to take you to ground level. This leads to the one caveat I should mention. In the interior, the first and second level are connected by a spiral metal stair. While we were fine with that, our 12-year-old 95 lb. “puppy” absolutely refused to engage. Fitting his long torso into a corkscrew shape apparently was a no-go. It might also be something to consider if you have toddlers who think they are Spider-Man. This was not a problem for us as we used the veranda stair when it was time for our “lapdog” to go upstairs for bed. Finally, it is a really fantastic location, very accessible to the village, pier and beaches on foot. Thank you! We look forward to returning!
