“Wonderful hospitality and fabulous food.”

“Just had 3 nights there and it was a golfing trip with 4 blokes so was nice to have our own rooms and space rather than hotels. One was a bunk bed room but we managed. The space was excellent we didn't even use the "games room". ( personally a pool table, table tennis table or darts board would be an excellent addition instead of the table football and the others agreed, but maybe just personal opinion) and the sofas upstairs were comfortable as were the beds. Couple of us struggled a bit...

“Lion Hotel has everything we required for our weeks stay. An excellent varied evening menu offering choices of both Indian and English dishes. The buffet breakfast offered all the usual fair which the staff constantly kept topped up. Our double room was spacious with clean en-suite facilities. All the hotel staff were pleasant and willing to help you in anyway they could. The bottom line is, yes we would be happy to stay at The Lion Hotel again.”

“No breakfast, no bar, no food or drink at all. No staff on site, No heating in morning, 4c in room !!! Window full of condensation, Kettle wouldn’t fit in sink to fill up.”

“Had a lovely romantic getaway. Swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, gym all literally 10 metres away from the room. Also a great little games room with pool, air hockey, video games, table tennis and much more all free of charge, again opposite the room. Lots of friendly farm animals that you can visit as often as you wish, the hosts are great and nothing is too much trouble for them. We’ll definitely be returning.”

“The cottage was lovely and cosy. Spotlessly clean and the hot tub was ideal. It was ideal for the dog with a secure enclosed outside area to let it out into. Lovely walks from the front door, especially 10 minutes to beach and then 7 mile walk to Pwllheli.”

“Amazing home, spacious and well equipped. Very welcoming. Location was also perfect for local pubs and beach. Would definitely recommend!”

“A very attractive house in a quiet location away from it all with superb views down to the sea. Very well equipped property with everything we could have wanted for cooking meals etc. The hot water supply was not wholly reliable and requires some maintenance. Also there was a risk of injury from protruding carpet grippers on the stairs which caused scratches to bare feet. Overall, a good place to spend a holiday.”
