“The Lismoyne Hotel was overall a good experience. I was in a small single room which was however comfortable and warm, the staff were generally very friendly and the bar was a convenient place to chat and relax. The only real downside was that my room was close to some sort of generator, which could be a little loud at night. I would certainly go again, only I'd ask for a different room.”

“Terrible experience!! We stayed 2 nights..... it was so damn hot in the room.... no A/C (as indicated) and.... NO FAN! We could hardly sleep... The window could be opened just a little.... so we had a very bad night. Rooms on the upper floor get really HOT in Summer.”

“I didn’t realise upon booking that the hotel has no A/C throughout, my room was 27 degrees, woke up at 2 am due to it being red hot and went and sat near reception as it was around 10 deg lower than the room, there was a free standing fan in the room which looked like it had done a few rounds with Mike Tyson, then just to top it off the fridge didn’t work at all, and when we reported it nothing was done. For £180 for 2 people for 1 night I could have stayed somewhere with a/c, a swimming pool &...

“Comfortable bed, friendly greetings on arrival, clean kitchen area and lots to offer for breakfast. Fridge in the room which is quiet unlike some places! Hairdryer, kettle and provisions in the room, plenty of plugs, touch bedside lamps, big TV screen, mirror, table and chairs sitting area by the window. Separate Shower rooms compact but very clean.”

“Great location for is, we stayed last year, some of the Pennine equipment is old, both our TV and iron were broken when we arrived, but the staff were very prompt in exchanging both items”

“The mattress and pillow too soft and uncomfortable. The staff was nice. The access to the room is throughout a narrow stair. Free parking. ”

“Whilst the staff and facilities were good, I was disappointed with the food. I had the coronation chicken terrine starter.which had a large piece of chicken skin in it. The staff offered me a replacement which I declined and they did not charmed for it. I later asked if I could have fresh fruit for dessert which the said would be available for breakfast. At breakfast the only fresh fruit available was watermelon. I may be picky but I feel that these minor items should be catered for.”

“Ho prenotato dal giorno 31 agosto all’8 settembre con e ordina il giorno 7. (Ieri) hanno preso i miei vestiti e li hanno tolti dalla camera buttati in una busta perché dicevano che il mio soggiorno era finito ho dovuto pagare un altra notte 80 sterline per dormire. PESSIMI”

“Un pub con camere in struttura separata dal pub (pochi metri). Le camere sono abbastanza ampie e con ottima dotazione: macchina per espresso, bollitore e minibar con birra, acqua e latte. Comodo parcheggio di fronte alle camere. Molto buono il cibo sia per la colazione che per i pasti principali, e ovviamente ottima la birra. Il punto di forza resta comunque il personale, sempre disponibile e impegnato a fare sentire il cliente a casa propria, complimenti a tutti!”
