“The host, Jen, was super friendly. You’re literally right on her farm so you see her out and about regularly with the animals. My son loved being able to roam around and see the chickens, especially. The old 1800s cabin is super cool. Just an all around awesome time unplugging from the world and reconnecting with family. ”

“We loved this little cabin. It’s extremely comfortable and the view is spectacular (and you can enjoy it from the hot tub !) Unless you have a4-wheel drive with good clearance, we recommend taking one of the Jeeps the owner offers up to the house. ”

“We had a great stay at this cabin! Host was responsive and gave many ideas of what to do. The cabin was cozy and it was a perfect stay! A must see is the caverns about 20-30 min away. We drove a Subaru Outback suv and had no problem with the road going up to the cabin, if it snows it can be slippery and icy going down, drive very slow. Overall 5 star stay! Thanks ”

“It was a beautiful place, relaxing, great for a group to cook, sit on a porch, next to the deep water of The Shenandoah River. Great beds, kitchen was easy for several people cooking at the same time”

“The abode is located in the basement of a very nice home in a quiet neighborhood. It has a private entrance, very spacious living room and a small kitchenette. There was plenty of towels provided as well as an ironing board/iton, broom and vacuum. Since it is in the lower level of a home, you do have the noise of people above you but it was very quiet at night and in the early morning.It snowed while we were visiting and the host was so kind he cleared our walkway too. We would definitely stay...
