“I see the reviews on this hotel are mixed. It was an excellent stay for my spouse and I, but I don’t think it’s for everyone. It’s unique. If you are looking for a luxury inn, or a copy/paste-style corporate hotel, you’re looking at the wrong property.
We LOVED it here! The rooms are somewhat tiny, and yes, a bit dated. But they were clean and comfy. Yes, housekeeping is every other day, but for only two people- how many towels were we *really* using in a day?

“13 minute ride up the mountains from town center. If you like the old English, Victorian feel to your hotels, then it’s ok.
No phones in room, no TV, no a/c.
The kicker was that our shower was not in our bathroom. It was OUTSIDE in the hallway. It’s strangely decorated but the owner did refund one of my two nights.”

“Was charged extra $50 for dog when I had specificity reserved a pet friendly room. This was not mentioned in Expedia. Also the complementary breakfast was for just 2 people in our party of 4! Had to sign a waiver where if the dog barks they would install a barker unit to stop that. This was also not on Expedia. Please look into all this before you sign up for this location.”

“The property is beautiful and close to downtown Estes. Away from the road so hardly any noise of traffic, with Fall River running thru it. Room very well stocked as we were in a two bedroom cabin and cleaned very well. Check-in, is with a kiosk, and a zoomed check in person. Just know to have your ID to scan in and a rep will then provide your key and paperwork to you.
