“It was a real treat to stay at the Balsam Inn! The Inn is off the beaten path like I wanted and very very quite. Jenny is a warm welcoming host. “Really interesting Mountain View’s and unique location. Staff was very friendly in informing us on the amenities offered and helped set us up with breakfast for our stay (which beat our expectations). Not a bad spot to lay your head down after a day exploring local parks, wineries and cideries.”

“Upon approaching the lodge, we were appalled at the condition of the building. It was run down and the landscaping needed attention. We were also very surprised to read a note on the outside of room saying that all Finger Lakes Lodging guests must register at the Mirbeau Inn & Spa down the road. We did as the note requested and went down to the spa. I wasn't very far away. Upon approaching the front desk I was asked how I was today. I said very disappointed in the condition of the building...
