“The bunk room was beautifully done and super clean with modern finishes. I loved it and will definitely stay there again. I accidentally booked the wrong day but they were able to adjust it at no extra charge. Very grateful for the staff and how friendly they were. ”

“Classic old mining town stay. The bar below is a staple in Rico and the accommodation transports you to those mining times, with wonderfully updated amenities. This is the second time we have stayed here, both times were easy, magical and comfortable. Cant wait to return! ”

“Clean room”

“The listing lists the bathroom as part of the space, but it is shared. It also does not share that while there is no air conditioning (which fine, that is common in the mountains) there is also no fan or operable windows in the room. My room was 80 degrees when I arrived at 1 AM and there was nothing to be done about it. The hallway is also on an occupancy sensor that turns the hallway lights on and off all night, which shine into the rooms through windows above the doors. ”

“A little slice of heaven in the mountains. I haven’t stayed during ski season but this lodge is part of the Sierra Club. I stayed towards end of spring/early summer and found this to be a beautiful lodge with every amenity a weekend camper or van lifer would need. They have clean bathrooms, a beautiful main room to hangout in, a kitchen room with fridge and microwave (I believe the original kitchen is no longer available unless they have events or food plans running for ski season).
