Cozy Craftsman is a newly renovated home located on the north end of Staunton, less than 1 mile to downtown and less than half a mile to Gypsy Hill Park. The home features a living room, kitchen, dining room for 6, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an office and fully fenced backyard.

Outstanding location - great communication - very clean and well stocked. Comfortable beds... lots of ceiling fansWe were expecting both baths to be on the 2nd floor. One is upstairs; the other is on the 1st floor behind the eating area off the kitchen. Might be awkward for 2 couples.Suggest a railing for the steps down from the front porch.

This Cozy Craftsman was just perfect for two couples. We enjoyed the large kitchen and comfortable living room area. It was super clean and well stocked with everything you need. We highly recommend this place.

This place is perfect for your visit to Staunton. The house is comfortable and clean. A short walk to town is also a plus. The house is well equipped with kitchen supplies and all the bathroom supplies you need. We would definitely recommended staying here.

Comfortable and Convenient Craftsman

As the title implies, my sister and I found the Cozy Craftsman to be comfortable and very convenient. We were able to walk into Staunton to visit Antique stores and restaurants. A short drive led us to two beautiful parks where we enjoyed beautiful scenery and enjoyable trail walks.

Just like Home

The Cozy Cottage was the perfect home for my husband & I and our friends who joined us for a last minute weekend antique shopping in the area. The location was so close to all the dining & shopping downtown. The home was extremely clean & had everything we needed to feel right at home. We enjoyed our time there and will definitely be back. If we had known this home was so comfortable we would have added an extra day to our trip to simply enjoy a day at home relaxing!

Beautiful Home and Great Location

We had a wonderful stay at the Cozy Craftsman! The home is beautiful and clean, great kitchen, two full bathrooms, and lots of space. It is super close to downtown (15 minute walk or a few minutes drive). We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to everyone!

Sweet house and town

Arrived at this cozy Craftsman with my sisters for our annual sisters’ weekend. We had a little delay with the entry code not working but were able to text with the property mgmt company and get the help we needed. The house is darling, a renovated Craftsman with some of the architectural charm left intact. It’s close to the heart of Staunton which we thoroughly enjoyed. The house is great. Beds are comfortable but are a little small to share.

Adorable place

We had a nice stay here. The place was nicer than even showed in the listing, including a Toto toilet upstairs that has a seat warmer. Location was perfect near the park and eating options. One thing that might be nice would be room darkening curtains in the bedrooms but they may be working on it. Check out was at a generous time too.

Wonderful place!

We loved the charming house - it has been updated with great attention to detail. Everything we needed was there, beds were so comfy, the linens were great, and the owners extremely responsive. Highly recommend. And we had no idea Staunton had so many great pubs and restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries!

The Best Host Ever

The property manager was super friendly and helpful. I never had to wait for a reply. The house is super clean, and very comfortable. One thing I really felt set this house apart from the MANY homes I have stayed in was all of the "extras". The home was well stocked with all linens, towels, extra household supplies like toilet paper, trash bags, batteries, paper towels and anything else you can imagine. I even found lysol under the kitchen sink. Many hosts will only leave 1 of these items out and the rest locked in a closet which is the worst. I can't tell you how many times I've had to buy toilet paper on vacation. The kitchen was full over everything you would need in your own kitchen, extra coffee, wine openers, you name it, it's there. Sitting out back was super pleasant around the fire surrounded by a quiet charming yard. You are within walking distance to many places and the town is so incredibly charming that I can't wait to go back. You won't regret staying here.

Perfect weekend getaway!

Excellent renovation of property - space, decor, amenities. Excellent location - a block away from beautiful Gypsy Hill Park - walked it every morning ;) Short drive to historic downtown area. Quiet and peaceful - totally recommend.

Clean & great location

House was very clean and comfortable. It was in a great location. Neighborhood was quiet. I wish it was warmer because we could have enjoyed the Gypsy Hill park that was close by. We loved downtown Staunton shopping. I only have two complaints. One was the bad water pressure in the upstairs shower (daughter said downstairs water pressure was fine) and the second was the water itself. I know its not the fault of the owner's because it is a house located in town but the water is terrible. It smells strongly of chlorine and made all our skin extremely dry in the short time we were there. We are used to softened well water but have stayed at in town properties before in other locations and Staunton's water must be the worst we have ever experienced. If I lived there, I would def have a water treatment company come out for some kind of filter system on the house. Other than that (and you may be used to town water) the house, location & property management were great and I would highly recommend the house.
