“We spent our Whitsun holidays at the JW Marriott Crete with our young kids and had a great time. The resort is beautiful, located right at the quiet end of Marathi Bay. It’s incredibly family-friendly—the staff were amazing with the children, and the kids' pool is perfect since it's shallow, warm, and shaded by a sun sail. “This beautiful villa is a hidden gem. The little village is so gorgeous. The drive up through the olive orchard is stunning. We never tired of the view. The restaurant that it attached to the villa is literally at the front door. The food is amazing. Though breakfast is not available, it's a short drive to a nearby town that has several other dining options. The pool is small but private. We would definitely stay here again. ”

“Overall the villa is nice but it’s a bit tired and could do with some updating. The pillows were really uncomfortable and there were no bowls at all for breakfast cereal etc. I don’t think the pool is cleaned enough, two out of the three of us have ear infections which may well be a result of swimming in it. As for the villa owner, Stefanos was very nice and always responded when I texted him. The dogs next door were barking a lot at night, sometimes continually which is hard to sleep through. I...
