“Our family of four had a wonderful stay in Mathys houseboat! The views at night of the romantic skinny bridge alit were gorgeous and the glimpse of other boats cruising by the open portholes of the boat made you feel like you were in the midst of it all. A comfortable walk to the Van Gogh Museum and The Anne Frank House as well as great restaurants. We walk away with great memories of our experience here.”

“The pictures of the houseboat in the ad were accurate - it is very nice and immaculately clean. The landlord is nice and very helpful and responded very quickly to our every question/concern. It also is in a very nice location - we were very happy we spent the extra money to stay in the canal district ON a canal - another thing off my bucket list!”

Rohan hat uns empfangen und uns alles in Ruhe gezeigt und erklärt. Toll ist die Sauna auf dem Boot. Es ist überhaupt nicht kalt, wir waren im Dezember dort. Es werden alle Wünsche erfüllt, wenn man sie vorher anfragt. Albert ist ebenfalls ein warmherziger Mensch, der uns lieb begrüßt hat. Das Hausboot liegt perfekt zur City und vom Centraal...

“Good location-close to train station. BUT there is a boat docked alongside this rental-so you cannot see the water from inside the boat. There is limited outdoor space on top of the boat where you can observe the other ‘boat’. Clean, pleasant interactions with hosts. Just not what we expected from a houseboat experience ”

“Loved the location and staying on the water. We did not have good weather so only got to enjoy the outdoor deck one night, but it was amazing! Sitting on the water and waving to all the people sailing by in their small boats. You get that sense of community. Walkable to bars, restraints, and a grocery store. Left recommendations and directions, which were spot on. I’m a light sleeper so the sound of nearby traffic and aquatic wildlife made it difficult for me but my husband never heard a thing....
