“Albert is a wonderful communicator and has taken great care to pay attention to detail. The heated bathroom floors were one of our favorite details, but also the porch is a perfect slice of charm, the milk frother for the coffee is a lovely touch, the hidden tv (with Netflix), a great book of neighborhood suggestions…and the bed was very comfortable and large (which is a rare luxury in the area). We can’t wait to stay again next year.”

The boat has a prime location with the feel of full immersion into daily Dutch life, super quiet nights with close proximity to all of the activity in the city center. “What a pleasure to stay in a charming house boat on one of the quieter central canals. Eclectically furnished and comfortable it was a tranquil space to relax and watch the tour boats go by. Plenty of nice eateries and grocery stores within walking distance and easy to get to the galleries/museums on foot or by a short tram ride. Robertino is as gracious a host as you could ask for and will do what ever he can to make your stay in Amsterdam wonderful. We cannot recommend this houseboat highly enough. “This was an ideal place to stay in Amsterdam. It was super fun to stay on a houseboat, and this is a particularly nice houseboat. It has an ideal location, right at the edge of the city center--easy walking to everything but on a nice, quiet canal surrounded by beautiful buildings that seemed apart from the intensity of the most tourists districts, even though they were just a few minutes walk away.
