"Expensive for a room with three beds and nothing else but a wardrobe. No where to sit, no table. Towel is small and thin. Italy is expensive I guess. Opposite part of town from the old port, quite a walk or bus ride to get there."

"This is the worst experience...what a Scam....we arrived with my husband and the street was very shady...the building was horrible and when we pressed the name of the hotel no one answered we even called the number and it did not exist...it was not until some people that lived in the building we had to go 5 floors up in a really awful building since the elevator was scary...we knocked and knocked and no one ever answered after an hour of standing and calling in front of the hotel we left and had...

"I cannot say much about the interior as I never got in. You need to call beforehand to gain access. I called 15 times over a 12 hour period (I have the call logs to prove it) and no one ever answered. I even had some locals call on their phone to make sure it was not me and no answer. I had to find another hotel at last moment and will now see if I can get a refund. The area is a bit rough around the edges. If you stay here make sure you can gain access. Good luck. "

"Talk about value for money! A very nice 3 bedroom B&B with a roof terrace in the Old Town of Genoa. Large, modern and clean rooms. Excellent service and a friendly and service minded owner. It is on the 4th floor without elevator, so you have to walk up the 105 steps! But it is worth it."

"Nice design, incredibly luxurious breakfast. Air conditioner, fridge, towel, shampoo, all necessary things are equipped. It was difficult to find the location, though. And the mattress of the bed was two separated ones, which kepts splitted in half. If you are a couple, something to be aware of. But generally it was excellent."

"We booked the place via Expedia at 9pm and gave immediately after a call as required. The owner told us that check in time was passed (8pm) and we will loose our reservation and money. Charming. We insisted, saying that we could be there in the next 5mn."

"Great location and very clean. Met at time of arrival by property manager and at check out. Only suggestion is regarding the parking. Google maps does not show the street to enter on. Perhaps a picture of where to turn in would be helpful or a statement if you reach the Submarine you went one street too far."
