“The room is a bedroom in someone’s residential apartment which means you were staying in someone’s home for your stay. This was not stated on the room advertisement which is misleading and it should be. The couple are lovely but better communication is required so travellers are aware of what they are paying for.”

“No heating (which did come on 12 hours after arrival and switched back off again). Lukewarm and cold water - unable to shower there. We had to boil water in a kettle and wash from a basin. Noise from road and open bars/restaurants late into night, broken chair, lounge had holes all through it and just two cups. While the unit was on the first floor up from the road, there were about 40 stairs to that level and the instructions to the premises talked of a white door - no white door anywhere. ”
