“The house is in a perfect location as it is possible to walk into Lucca but it is just outside the city walls so feels remote, quiet and private for time spent at home. We were able to stay without a car and go for day trips using the train station. Florence, Pisa, Montecatini, Viareggio etc are all accessible. “The property was very well located outside the Lucca city walls, close to a major grocery, excellent local restaurant and pizzeria. The unit was old world charming with great views of the aqueduct, beautiful garden and hills. Numerous stairs outside and inside the unit were a bit challenging. Danilo was a very cordial and responsive host.”

“We stayed in this place in Lucca for two weeks while we did day trips with my family. It was great! A word to light sleepers: the owner’s dogs (who lived below) were out most nights and barked at night. We let the property manager know but the barking continued. We eventually got used to it because we didn’t want to inconvenience them by asking again and loved our stay but not ideal in the first days of jet lag. ”

It was spacious with 6 good sized bedrooms each with their own bathroom (which was great). 5 bedrooms are on the top floor along with the kitchen and 1 bedroom is on the ground level along with the living room. We ended up mainly congregating in the kitchen. There was plenty of parking for our 3 cars and the outdoor area was nice to use as well. Il giardino è immenso la vasca idromassaggio grande, grandi anche gli spazi esterni per mangiare all'aria aperta. La casa in sé è piccolina ma non manca assolutamente nulla. Non sono riuscita a trovare un utensile che non fosse presente! Enrico poi è super gentile e disponibile. La posizione è ottima...

“We did the research and felt Lucca would be an ideal location for relaxation and day journeying e.g. Cinque Terra. I booked the Villa Secret Escape so that family from Europe, New Zealand and USA could meet in Tuscany. There were 10 of us and we immensely enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of space, grand sized family room, dining room, 5 bedrooms and great character. There were also excellent outdoor facilities and a very modern pool. “L'appartamentino è accogliente e molto curato, c'è tutto quello che può servire per mangiare lavarsi e dormire. Il giardino con piscina sembra molto rilassante anche se per il periodo non ne abbiamo potuto usufruire. Si è appena fuori dal centro e questo ha il vantaggio del rumore e lo svantaggio che bisogna avvicinarsi in bici o auto.”
