“We had a great stay at this property. We had plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 adult children. Two of the adults only had one towel instead of two like the other adults and the amount of body wash/shampoo was not enough. We were not able to use the coffee maker with ground coffee. The apartment did have laundry soap.”

It was advertised as having AC, but only had one weak portable unit that couldn’t cool the home below 27C (80F), making it unsafe for our newborn who was overheating and crying nonstop. “Instructions for check in were detailed and we had no problems. We were able to find a parking spot in the garage but be warned there are only a few and it's first come first serve. “Beautiful spot, but difficult to access without a rental car. We were travelling on foot/train/bus and we had to rely solely on the 2 or 3 taxis in the township. The walk was ok downhill, but very arduous going back (We're in our 70's). We chose Varenna as it much more affordable than Ballagio, and the views are simply breathtaking. With a car, this would have been perfect, but we also found that the locals were very accommodating and actually took us home in their own vehicles a few...

“Marco and Daniela have the most breathtaking lake view rental! Our family of four stayed for 4 nights, and we were in awe of the beautiful views of Lake Como. “Perfect place. Great views. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed. We even did some laundry. Make sure you eat at the Al Prato Restaurant, too. We Will definitely stay here again. In our opinion, the best location to base out of on Lake Como. ”

“My husband and I stayed here with another couple & had a great time! The apartment is pretty, modern, & comfortable for 4 people. Plus, the views of the lake!!! The location is perfect-right near the plaza with shops and restaurants, and it’s a short (hilly) walk to the lake. One thing to note-one of the bedrooms is upstairs via a small spiral staircase. It’s a bit challenging to bring up a heavy suitcase, but doable. And, the mini window view at the top is worth it!”

“We had 2 nights there, so we really enjoyed staying in this apartment. Wonderful views of the lake, quiet, far from all the busy tourist area. Swimming pool was very enjoyable.
