Make your mountain escape to this beautiful 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo at The Lodge at Steamboat—just one block from the ski area and steps from restaurants, shops, and Gondola Square. With cozy alpine décor and amazing year-round amenities, this is the perfect home base for your Steamboat adventure.

Natural light pours through the large picture window into the open-concept living space, creating a welcoming retreat after a day on the slopes. Kick back around the gas fireplace, cook in the fully equipped kitchen, and gather at the dining table for 6, with additional seating at the breakfast bar for 4. In warmer months, enjoy al fresco meals on the private patio.

Primary Bedroom: King bed, en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, flat-screen TV
Second Bedroom: Full bed + twin-over-full bunk bed
Living Room: Queen sleeper sofa
Second bathroom: Hall-access with tub/shower combo

Very poorly maintained condo. The lowest care of a unit we’ve ever stayed in. The smoke detector was partially removed from the ceiling. Sheetrock repairs were repainted with paint that is wildly off from the original. Light bulbs were out. A can light was falling out of the ceiling. The dishwasher wasn’t secured to the cabinets and completely disconnected. The oven drawer was broken and hanging on off the track. The sheets were the lowest quality and scratchy. Honestly, we’ve used VRBO for all our vacations and this just really missed it in terms of quality we would expect, especially for the price that was paid.

The condo was great- wonderful location, clean and fully equipped. My biggest issue was that there was no elevator and my father is 90 years old. We had planned for this to be our gathering spot for the holidays and he was unable to navigate the stairs. We had to change our holiday plans which was disappointing. Please add this to the listing, so future renters are aware.

The condo was nice. We enjoyed our stay. The description does not state this condo is on the second floor. There are about 14 steps. I would not have booked this condo if I knew that was the case. I was traveling with a baby and had a lot to bring up. Thankfully when I checked at The Lodge, they helped me bring up our things. The sheets on the bedding were really rough too. Overall this place was nice.

Great location and layout, no extras

The location of this condo was wonderful, walkable to the gondola and Wild Plum for groceries, as well as many restaurants and shops at the base of the mountain. We also loved having the shuttle right there at the lodge that could take us to town or around the resort. Everyone was kind and helpful. The condo itself had no extras that many VRBOs have like a welcome basket, a packets with recommendations for restaurants, kitchen supplies like aluminum foil and ziplocks, etc. No instructions on how to use the fireplace or TVs among the multiple remotes. The mattress and pillows in the master were very uncomfortable - memory foam mattress was VERY firm and we sleep on a firm mattress at home. Pillows were not good. There was a leak in the shower arm and a blind that didn’t work but a repair person came promptly to repair the shower and remove the blind. The view out of the picture window in the main room was wonderful, allowing plentiful light and a nice view outside toward the ski area and the mountains to the west. Great spot to sit and read next to the fireplace. Overall, the condo is great but needs a little more updating with things that are really worn (couch and carpet) and uncomfortable (mattress and pillows) and a few extras for those who are there for the first time and are coming from a distance. Wouldn’t take much to take this from a good place to an excellent place!

Enjoyed being able to walk to the slopes, probably about a 7 min walk. There’s also a bus that will take you to the slopes or into town to shop or eat.

Very nice unit

The unit is just as described. We found it very accessible and comfortable. Personally, we are not fans of memory foam beds, but others might be. The space was large, and included everything needed for a multi-night stay. The location, only 10 minutes from downtown Steamboat, was very convenient.

Shuttle service was nice. Condo has been well used - lots of stained carpeting, damaged kitchen wall. Comfortable king bed but badly stained bedspread.

Great place close to the Gondola, but not a true ski in/out

Great place with a free town shuttle which was handy. 5-10 min walk to the base of the ski resort. Only issue was a lumpy master bed. Definitely time for the owner to buy a new one that won’t leave large craters from previous guests.

Condo was average but over priced. Could hear neighbors talking and walking, lightbulbs out and remotes in need of batteries. Older condo a bit of a walk to parking. Hot hubs in parking lot.
