NEW to the rental market, Kestrel Corner is located in Howelsen Place, the ultimate in downtown comfort and luxury. The windows at Kestrel Corner face 7th Street AND Yampa Street giving our guests 180 degree views of the Steamboat ski area and historic Howelsen Hill. In September 2023 the entire condo received a facelift, new paint throughout, new carpeting, and new furnishings and linens in both bedrooms. A unique feature to the property, the original artwork you see in the pictures were painted by the owner, including several large pieces.

Walking into Kestrel Corner, you are greeted with a large entryway with a walk in closet, a bench and cubbies to store your gear. The primary bedroom is to your left as you start to walk towards the main living area and includes ample closet space, and one of those original art pieces you can view while slumbering in the new king bed! The ensuite bathroom is spacious with double sinks, a large walk in shower and soaker tub. Head down the hall to enter the kitchen, living and dining space of the property, showering you with an abundance of natural light. Meal prep at the island means you are never left out of the conversation. Seating for 6 at the dining room table allows the entire group to dine together and play cards or games while looking out at the views of the ski area. Two couches frame the living room giving everyone a chance to spread out while watching a movie or cozying up to the fireplace. The second bedroom includes a new queen size bed, large walk in closet and the 2nd bathroom is just outside this bedroom. The washer and dryer are located in a closet in this second bathroom along with extra storage space to tuck anything you want out of sight. A sleeper sofa in the living room round out the sleeping options at Kestrel Corner.

Air conditioning, designated parking in a heated garage for 1 vehicle, spectacular views of the ski area and a central downtown location only add to the appeal of staying at this property. Kestrel Corner is the perfect place to call home during your Steamboat Springs vacation any time of year!

Parking for 1 car is assigned in an underground garage. Garage entrance height is 7'5".

Four Seasons Steamboat manages this vacation rental home in Steamboat on behalf of the owners. Four Seasons Steamboat is a locally owned and operated property management company. We are here in Steamboat Springs to solve any issue that might arise or answer questions you might have. We follow all local rules and state laws regarding taxes, occupancy and any other nightly rental restrictions.

Each of our vacation rental homes is stocked with what you need to enjoy your Steamboat Springs vacation; towels, linens, bathroom products, trash bags, dish and dishwasher soap, tissues, etc…

You will be required to electronically sign our booking contract to finalize your reservation. Your reservation total includes all applicable state and local taxes, Accidental Property Damage Protection for $1,500 and a cleaning fee.

Cancellation Policy:
Non-holiday reservations: Reservations cancelled at least 30 days before arrival day will be refunded 100%. Reservations cancelled 29 or fewer days before arrival date will be refunded whatever amount we can re-book with a new guest. If unable to re-book with a new guest, the entire reservation will be forfeited.

Holiday reservations (the week of Christmas and the week after Christmas): Reservations cancelled at least 45 days before the start of your stay will be refunded 100%. Reservations cancelled 44 or fewer days before arrival date will be refunded whatever amount we can re-book with a new guest. If unable to re-book with a new guest, the entire reservation will be forfeited.

Is there a cancellation fee? You can cancel any reservation for free up to 48 hours after booking. After 48 hours we charge a $100 administrative fee for cancelling a reservation more than 30 days from arrival date (45 for holiday reservations).

We encourage you to buy our Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) insurance to ensure you won't lose any money due to circumstances out of your control.

Realize you will be on vacation but this condo is located in a building with year round residents. Summer time means open windows in Steamboat at night, and sound carries. Loud parties, music or outside gatherings on the decks after quiet hours are not tolerated. We ask you please be respectful of the neighbors and the character of this neighborhood. If you feel that your group can't abide by quiet hours, please look at another one of our homes or give us a call or email to discuss. Thank you for your respect and understanding!

Great Downtown Condo

We have stayed a many short term rental homes/condos and Four Seasons Steamboat is the best property manager/owner we have worked with. They are very responsive, knowledgeable about the area, helpful and friendly. They want to help you have the best experience possible. They have many properties in Steamboat. The condo we stayed in is an excellent downtown location and walking distance to almost everything. The condo was very clean, lots of windows, open and bright, well equipped kitchen with high end appliances. Most places we have stayed in don’t have hand soap dispensers and use poor quality paper products. Not Four Seasons. They had hand soap dispensers in bathrooms and kitchen. They also, use top quality paper products.

Very comfortable, clean, and fresh condominium located downtown in Steamboat Springs. Strong security access including reserved parking. Great restaurants, shoppes, and cafes, all within walking distance. Short 10 minute drive to Resort.

Steamboat Escape!

Kestrel Corner is sparkling clean & comfortably spacious! The beds & pillows were comfortable and the baths & kitchen were well supplied. The downtown location made for easy access to restaurants & shopping. Easy access to the rooftop courtyard! We hope to be back!

Downtown Steamboat Springs Gem

Easy check-in. Garage parking nice and the space we had was close to the elevator. Kitchen was nicely appointed. Only thing we missed was a sheet pan and cooling rack but minor concern. Gas stove, which we loved. Large refrigerator with ice maker, coffee maker and ample cookware. Nice deck looking towards the ski resort. Weber gas grill that we did not use on this trip but looked nice. Bedrooms were nice and clean as were the bathrooms. Slow draining in the master shower and sinks, not much of a pain but thought I'd mention to see if it could be corrected. Walking distance to the downtown area, plenty of restaurants, bars, shopping and close to the river. Property manager was very responsive via text for the few questions we had. Overall, we had a very good experience staying here.

Excellent Property

Fantastic downtown location, well provisioned, modern and bursting with natural light. Nice patio, comfortable beds. Perfect for out mix of skiers and non-skiers.
