The Eagles Nest Chalet is a spacious multi level mountain retreat. It offers the perfect blend of luxurious quality, comfort, privacy, and location, just minutes from the slopes and downtown Steamboat. With a private hot tub, sauna, theater room, and breathtaking views, it's the ideal home base for families and groups looking to relax, reconnect, and make the most of their time in Steamboat. Please note, City of Steamboat regulations require that this home be rented for 30 nights or more at a time. If you are interested in renting for only 2 or 3 weeks, please inquire anyway, to discuss your dates, and pricing.

The Property:
Get ready to kick back and enjoy the best of Steamboat Springs in this spacious 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom end unit townhome. With multiple levels, three cozy living areas, and two decks with breathtaking views, there's plenty of space for everyone to spread out, and rooms large enough for everyone to spend time together. After a day on the slopes or trails, soak in your private hot tub, detoxify in the sauna, or gather around the outdoor firepit under the stars. Fire up the BBQ grill, enjoy dinner on the deck, and breathe in that crisp mountain air with beautiful sunset views. During the Winter Carnival, you can even watch the fireworks over Howelsen Hill right from the hot tub!

Inside, you'll find a fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances, comfy living spaces with vaulted ceilings and large windows, and ceiling fans throughout to keep things cool in the summer. The private elevator offers easy access to all floors, and the heated 2 car garage and heated driveway are a must during snowy Steamboat winters. A private washer and dryer lets you pack light and stay fresh throughout your stay. The great room is the heart of the home, perfect for gathering together to cook in the gourmet kitchen, share meals at the dining table for 10, play games, or curl up by the cozy fireplace for a movie night. The theater room, affectionately called "the pit," is a favorite hangout for families after a day on the mountain. With a large HDTV, surround sound speakers, a wet bar, and a high top table, it's the perfect space to watch movies or host a family game night. There's also another bonus space on the middle level of the home, which is a great place to watch TV, play video games, or challenge each other to a game of foosball. With all of these spaces, with lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, and with the home's multi-level layout, you can see how this home is ideal for entertaining or for hosting family, and even with larger groups, it's still easy for everyone to find some privacy or quiet time.

Whether you're here for powder days, fall colors, or summer hikes, this location makes it easy to experience the best of Steamboat, without ever feeling far from home. For the best experience exploring all that Steamboat has to offer, access to a car is highly recommended.

Arrival, Accessibility, Layout and Parking:
– Once you book, we're here to support you before, during, and after your stay. We will provide you with arrival instructions, local information, and answer any questions you might have.
– Accessing the property: Entry is through the garage on the lower level.
– Parking: There is parking for up to 4 cars. Please reach out prior to booking if you have a trailer so we can confirm that it will fit in the driveway. Two cars can fit in the garage and the other 2 in the driveway. If you need additional parking options, please contact us for more information.
– 4WD vehicle information: The roads to this property are well maintained. However, please note that your route to the area may include a mountain pass. The roads in Steamboat which lead to and from this property are generally easy to navigate and well maintained. When traveling during snow and winter weather conditions, 4 Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive and tires with good tread are recommended.

** Pets & Fees - “Pet Friendly” means Dog Friendly only. If a property is pet friendly, then a per pet, per night fee will apply. Some online booking sites, such as VRBO, do not allow us to list the maximum number of pets per property. If you are renting a pet friendly property, and will have more than one dog, please reach out prior to booking to verify if the home will allow more than one dog. Additional fees will apply for more than 1 dog.
** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. Security cameras and noise monitoring devices are an example and demonstration that the property's owners are taking steps to ensure the home remains available for rental, and in good condition, for your benefit. ** Lengthy Rental Periods, Cancellation Policies, & Cleaning Fees - Long Term Rentals (28 nights or more) may be unacceptable under the standard cancellation policies listed online, which are designed to be only for short term rentals.
