Lookout Guest House: One Bedroom Country Living

  • 1055 The Lookout Guest Home: This new country guest house has a farmhouse design that offers a peaceful and clean at home feel. This guest home is located 15 minutes north of Stephenville and 50 minutes west of Ft. Worth.
    Kitchen: Fridge, microwave, coffee maker and basic condiments you will need for your stay.
    Bed: plush top with cozy linens. Roll away twin bed.
    Outdoor porch: great place for a cup of coffee and wildlife watching. A fire pit and wood are available.
    We have lots of animals including friendly dogs. If you’re uncomfortable with dogs, please let us know ahead of time. 14 miles north of Stephenville, right off of US Hwy 281. All paved roads.

Check in was super easy, the place was super clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed the patio area and the beautiful clear view of the night sky! The dogs and cats were all super friendly and welcoming!

Just what we needed while visiting for wedding in Lipan! Private enough to feel like it was our own place. Extremely clean with all amenities listed. Easy access to Grandbury, Weatherford, and Stephenville. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great place to stay!

Beautiful little space and area. It’s a distance from town but there’s a great little convenience store just a couple miles away. Easy to find with GPS. We will definitely stay again.

Horseman Ranch

The guest house was quiet, cozy, clean and had everything you needed and more. The property was well maintained. Beautiful views. We loved seeing nearby animals. The booking process was easy and the hosts provided all the information needed.

Home Away from Home

We loved our stay. It was at the end of the road just like at home. It was clean and the perfect size for us. A great place to relax. Beautiful front porch and scenery all around. The hospitality was wonderful. I am looking forward to our next trip! Thank you again.

Super clean, quiet & comfy stay at road’s end. Chickens, dogs & cats roaming giving barnyard vibes, spouse dubbed unit a barndominium! Closets stuffed with cards, games, magazines, extra linens, pillows & blankets, toiletries. Full array of kitchen appliances, dishware, cookware, plentiful plugs! We’d return, as will previous guestbook entries. TV with streaming options for evenings or rainy days. Excellent value & congenial hosts! Gate and door entry, WiFi access easy peasy compared to most.

Wonderful Country Cottage

We spent five wonderful nights at Wes & Tabitha's little cottage in the country at their ranch. We were visiting for our daughter-In-law's graduation (PHD) from Tarleton State in Stephenville. We were also able to watch our youngest granddaughter in her soccer tournament in Granbury.The cottage was very clean and just the right size and very accommodating for our needs. Also, enjoyed the animals at the ranch especially the official greeters the dogs and cats. Bella and Blue two of the dogs were very loving and we enjoyed their company. We would love to stay here again in the future and highly recommend the place for anyone traveling to the area.Kathy & Gary
