Cozy Family Cottage 2 Bed, 1 Bath Near Lake Michigan Fun and Wine country

Quaint Lake cottage. Brick house, full kitchen with coffee maker and toaster. Enclosed porch with an electric fireplace. 2 bedroom 1 bath (sleeps 5 max) and a large back yard. Close to Lake Michigan and not far from wineries, breweries, restaurants. Air mattress and a cot available for more sleep space. Spend the day swimming or playing golf at Jack Nicklaus golf course or any of the other courses nearby. You can even rent some kayaks on the calm Paw Paw river. Silver beach also has kayak rentals. There are lots of hiking trails. Warren Dunes state park, grand mere state park or venture to South Haven and hit the Kal-Haven trail. If you are looking for a longer length of time during the week for the rental please reach out to the homeowner to see what’s available. Beach chairs available as well as a Weber grill.
Two blocks away from Crimson Café, coach’s bar and Grill, Texas Roadhouse and lots of breweries. Located in Stevensville,MI
Enjoy a nice evening around the back yard fire pit and play some corn hole.
No pets are allowed. No smoking allowed.
The house is not “baby proof” but children are welcome.

An amazing property, perfectly situated in the heart of activities for the area. We visited wineries one day and Lake Michigan beaches for 2 days. The local area offers plenty of retail choices including restaurants. The house was clean, comfortable. Communication with owner was seamless. Great property!

Property was clean and convenient to many of the places in St Joseph’s that we wanted to visit. The only drawback was an odd odor-not sure if it was some kind of air freshener or not. For someone sensitive to scents, it may be something to consider. Otherwise, the stay was easy, rules were clear, home was comfy, plenty of kitchen supplies, bedding/blankets, and towels. I would definitely stay here again!

Adorable comfy Home Away From. Home

This home was perfect for our family. Don't let the size fool you. There was plenty of space for all 7 of us. The beach chairs and fire pit were a nice bonus and we enjoyed both. Tracy was very accommodating and responded to questions very quickly. The home was located in a great location. Very easy to get to the downtown and beach without being in the middle of the hustle and bustle.

Short Family Stay

West Michigan Vacation

Great place to stay. Nice quiet neighborhood. Centrally located to St Joseph / Benton Harbor / Warren Dunes. Even made a trip to Indiana Dune NP. Lots of things to do that are close bye. The house was clean when we arrived. Perfect house for 2-4 people. Plenty of towels. Easy check in process. Fast response from the owners. The property has a wonderful backyard. Would stay here again if we are in the area.

This house was perfect for me and my sister. The house was very clean, and there were nice personal touches throughout. Our favorite spot was the all season room on the back. We spent our mornings and evenings there. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Tracy was a phenomenal host with great communication and helpful insight to the area. We visited several wineries and they did not disappoint. Many options within a reasonable driving distance.We will definitely be back and hope her home is available.

Weekend Spot

My husband and I rented this house while we were in town for a wedding. It was clean and very welcoming. You can tell the host cares about her guests and adds personal touches to help make your stay as ideal as possible. We didn’t get a ton of time to relax at the house due to plans but we wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the beautiful back yard and back sunroom. Overall a wonderful property to stay at.

Quick stay in a warm, cozy home

We so enjoyed our time here. The sunroom with fireplace space heater and large backyard (freshly mowed) made for a perfect fit for our toddler to run around and burn some energy. The beds were comfortable and the space was well-maintained. It did feel more like a residence than a rental, and we appreciated the kitchen was well-stocked with supplies, etc. The filtered water pitcher was a generous touch too.

Clean comfy house in great location

The house was clean with comfortable beds and furniture. The kitchen was well stocked for meal prep and the location was ideal for trips to state parks and to cafes in the area. Nice back yard. Highly recommended.

A lil Cutie

It was the most relaxing stay everything was so close to the rest of our family. The beaches were wonderful and the weather was fantastic. Going to book again in the fall for the foliage adventure an of course for Labor Day weekend. Tracy is such a gracious host everything is provided except your food.

Mother/Daughter get-away

My mom and I stayed here for the weekend, and we had a great time. The house is beautiful- we loved the screened in porch. I appreciated the attention to detail- the binder of local recommendations was very helpful. The property is in a great location to restaurants, the beach, parks, and the farmer's market in St. Joseph. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here. Checking in and out was easy as well.

Glad I chose it

It is a comfortable, cozy little house. The neighborhood is tranquil. The location makes everyplace easy to get to. That stands out since the town of Saint Joseph is totally clogged.

Great for small family or couples

Small, quaint home in Stevensville right off Red Arrow Highway. Easy to get to many beaches and many fast food options less than 5 miles away. Door Dash also delivers from many of the nicer restaurants. Large backyard for kids to play in or enjoy a glass of wine on the deck. Checking in and out was very simple. The instructions for cleaning were very reasonable. Just start the dishwasher and leave beds unmade.

Family Getaway

Wonderful home. Great distance to beach and perfect size for a small family to get away and enjoy SW Michigan. The backyard is HUGE and my family enjoyed sitting on the porch and four season porch in the evenings to wind down. Would definitely stay again for future family get aways in the area!

St. Joe Trip

Our place was clean and in a great location. We had so much fun traveling to downtown St. Joe for shopping and drinks. We enjoyed peaceful morning coffee by the fire pit and playing games in the evening. I would recommend this house to anyone going for a quick little trip and would book again.
