“All the staff we came into contact with were friendly , helpful, professional and efficient. Location was very convenient. The rooms were spotless , bed very comfortable . Buffet style breakfast was good with decent choice. A very minor niggle was that there weren't any biscuits in the room but would definitely stay here again when next in the area and recommend to family and friends ”

“A nice hotel in a rural area. You probably need a car to visit places around. The service was very good and the staff were really helpful. There were few alternatives for breakfast, but the traditional English breakfast was good. The room was quite clean but some dust. ”

“Very pretty, clean and well equipped room in a beautiful Country Pub setting. Good selection of breakfast items (I didn’t have the cooked breakfast) Lovely, warm room with fab shower. There was a quiz night when I was there but nothing could be heard from the room. Very friendly staff.

“This is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at, and I've stayed at a lot of hotels! We had such a lovely room that had the stream running past the window. The beds were super comfy and the room had lots of plug sockets which seems rare in hotels!
It was a Greene King but the food was better than any I've been too and reasonably priced. Service was quite slow considering how quiet it was but the staff were very friendly. The pictures online don't do this place justice, a real hidden gem! ”
