Cottage a Stirling

“Needs a little updating. But location was good”

“BOOK……THIS……HOME!The location is incredible, on a working farm, with a cafe and quaint restaurant, literally steps away. The Owners are sharing their family history with travelers and the modern updates and construction they have done is comparable to the best renovation teams on TV. It is well appointed, the attention to detail is strong, the beds are comfy, and a bathroom for every bedroom allows for space, and privacy for anyone staying. Having said all that, we met three of the owners and...

“Great center location between two big cities plus other locations. There was plenty of room to fit very comfortably 7 people. 6adults and 1 child. House was clean, check in was a breeze, had questions and they responded very quickly.”

“A fabulous lodge in a beautiful location. The owner couldn’t have been more helpful.”

“The accommodation was good in a peaceful and beautiful setting. It was ideally situated for sightseeing in the area.We would recommend and return.”

“We had a fantastic few days at Shieldhill Farmhouse with our extended family. Everything was clean and tidy and we all felt at home the minute we walked through the door. There were lots of little extra things such as toys for the children, recommendations for restaurants and takeaways, and goodies on arrival which were lovely. It's a big open farmhouse, and Scotland isn't known for it's tropical weather so we were a little chilly (even in August!) but we just popped a jumper and slippers on...

“Nice apartment in a lovely village. The guest book was a nice touch and we gleaned a good tip from previous guests' comments: free parking at Rosyth train station for an easy day-out in Edinburgh.”

“L'appartement n'était pas très propre, il restait des cheveux sur les théories et une odeur de moisi règne un peu partout.L'hôte n'est vraiment pas très accueillant.Le mail avec les coordonnées précises et les codes d'entrée n'a pas jamais été envoyé”

“Lovely cottage on a working farm.Lovely hosts who made us feel very welcome.”

“Very nice and relaxing in the hot tub with a lovely private garden.”

“Lovely location, central for exploring East and West.Very comfortable with just about everything you need.Only downside was the kitchen could have done with more plug sockets. However, would thoroughly recommend and we would stay again.”

“Great location for us but sandwiched between fast road and railway line. Car parking safe if a tight squeeze.Overall clean but unidentifiable smell in lounge and air lock in shower - maybe first rental this year?Minimal contact before arrival but helpful hosts once thereBedroom the plus, king-size bed, good bed linen. An accessible plug near one of the bedside tables would have been a plus plus a coffee table in loungeEasy road access there and train access into city centre.”
