“The room it self was good but the bathroom had a mould smell that strong that we couldn't stay in the bath room for long. We kept the bathroom door closed all the time to stop the smell from coming out. It was room 57. The other rooms might have been ok. I told cleaning staff. The pub at the front of the hotel was good.”

“The twin room offered a good sized space for a European property, but otherwise was very disappointing as it was shabby and dated. I knew from the pictures not to expect luxury but it was less attractive in person. The building had the feel of an old roadside motel and I would not have felt safe or secure there if I had been traveling alone. “Beautiful historic mansion. We walked thru nearby parks to the riverfront for lunch. The outdoor restaurant at Orange Grove was very pleasant for an evening dinner and happy hour. The admiral lounge is very comfortable while waiting for pickup to go to the airport or cruise ships.”

“Another very relaxing and enjoyable stay at this inn. Staff are welcoming and friendly. They serve good food and a well kept pint, what more do you need? ”

“This is a single room detached building beside the host’s house and it is absolutely delightful. The bed is comfy, the bathroom has lots of big fluffy towels, there is coffee and tea in the room. The weather was warm while we were there but there is cross ventilation and a fan, and we were able to enjoy breakfast outside in the beautiful garden. I would highly recommend this for a couple wanting a quiet place to stay that is convenient to explore the Salisbury area.”
