To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to formally report a serious incident that occurred during my stay at Days Inn by Wyndham Galt from February 15 to February 16.
I arrived on February 15th and paid for early check-in. After placing all of my belongings in my assigned room, I left the property for the day. Among my belongings were a backpack containing $300 in cash and a gold bracelet valued at approximately $1,500.
When I returned to my room later that evening, I discovered that my belongings were no longer there. I immediately went to the front desk to report the issue. The front desk employee informed me that my items were “in the back” and returned my belongings to me. However, after reviewing my bags in my room, I discovered that the $300 in cash and my gold bracelet were missing.
I promptly returned to the front desk to report the missing items. I was instructed to return in the morning to speak with management and housekeeping. The following morning, I spoke with an employee named Emma at the front desk and explained the situation. Unfortunately, instead of addressing my concerns professionally, she became defensive and dismissive, stating that none of her staff would take anything.
The interaction escalated, and I was subjected to extremely unprofessional and inappropriate language as she called me “a little b****” and I told me “get out of my “f****** lobby.” Then I was threatened with physical harm as Emma told me she would “call her grandson to come beat my a**.
