“Obviously an old rosdside motel, but newly remodeled inside, very clean, with quite comfortable beds. Staff (owners?) were very friendly & helpful. They even had a small welcome gift for us. Safe feeling & very conveniently located right off I94. Good value.”

“The cinnamon rolls were not soft. The toilets in 2 of our 3 rooms didn't flush and had to have the stopper pulled after each use. One coffee machine was out of order. Otherwise, nice stay and great location for our activities. They also deactivated our key cards early before checkout which caused one party to get locked out of their room.”

“My room was clean. Staff responsive. Breakfast and sundry amenities were better than the marketing shows. The parking lot is next to the building, but it's an open lot—not "secure" as their marketing claims. The marketing photos show the good parts of the hotel, and there are some. But there is more photo glitz than reality. The lake view is interrupted by a shoddy paved area, and the lake itself is unattractive. “noisy from up above”

“This hotel was very underwhelming. I've stayed at other hotels for the same price or less and have had much better experiences. This hotel is in need of an upgrade. The room wasn't as clean as I would expect. The breakfast left much to be desired. Staff wasn't rude or mean, but wasn't overly friendly either. Going forward, when we stay in the Minneapolis/st paul area I will avoid this hotel.”
