“My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights, both 19 years old, to visit Acadia National Park. The check-in process was very easy, and we got in an hour early which was great. I would definitely recommend having no more than 3 guests as it is a very tight squeeze, but it worked out since it was really just a place to sleep. I would also mention that the bathroom has a sliding door that doesn’t lock and leaves a gap. We encountered one issue regarding the oven during our stay, but the host was quick...

“The yurt, in addition to just being fun, was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The location was 30 minutes or less to everything on Mount Desert Island, but much quieter than the east side. Can't recommend enough and will certainly be back next time we're visiting Acadia!”

“This wonderful apartment is located on the Quiet Side of Mount Desert Island, which was a big plus for us! As an added bonus, there is a grocery store (and a laundromat) 0.1 mile away. The beds and sofas are comfortable, the kitchen fully stocked with all the bakeware, cookware, crockery, flatware and utensils you will need. The bathroom is tiny, but certainly serviceable. And the owners, Tim and Sian are regularly updating and improving the property. Overall, we had a delightful stay!”

“We liked how generously the yurts were spaced in their woodland setting and the way the owners, Karen and Aaron, took good care to maintain the quiet. Our yurt was roomy, aesthetically beautiful inside, and very thoughtfully provided with everything needed. All was clean and in good working order -- e.g., the shower was hot and strong, the bed was really comfortable, the water tasted sweet and good, the kitchen had all the right utensils, the internet worked, and there were nice places to sit....

“We enjoyed our four nights at the cottage. It was very clean, well-maintained, and had some great touches - like the cabinet lighting in the kitchen and beautiful quartz countertops. The view from the deck was amazing, and we enjoyed watching the seagulls, ducks and geese in the mornings and evenings. The cottage was extremely close to Acadia National Park, allowing us access to multiple trail heads on the quiet side of MDI. Overall, a great stay.”

“My husband & I loved staying at this treehouse location. It was the perfect size, equipped with all we needed for our stay. It was about 30 min from everything we wanted to do while visiting Acadia. If we hadn’t stayed here, and opted for Bar Harbor, we would never have seen this part of the area. Plus, the kayaks were a fun activity. Would stay again!”

“The property owner was wonderful providing info and help as needed. The kitchen was well equipped for those who like to prepare meals. Staying on the "quiet side" of Mt. Desert Island was good for us. We had easy access to Acadia National Park and could drop into the busyness of Bar Harbor when we wanted that experience.”

“My husband, our 3 teenage kids (15, 16, and 16), and Pepper the pug rented out the two pet friendly yurts. These were perfect to have a nature feel but with amenities to suit a day of sweating from adventuring in Acadian National Park! The owners were so friendly and tentative and would text back whenever we reached out.
