“This is a very nice B&B located conveniently to the attractions around Kerr Lake Reservoir . It is owned and operated by a couple from the Netherlands who sprinkle a little Dutch into the breakfast. The house was a pre-civil war Tobacco Plantation home. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable and Martin, our host was very attentive and helpful. I would rate it a very good value”

“I was very impressed by the log cabin. It was super clean, wonderfully decorated, with updated bathrooms, and the overall feel was like living in a bass pro shop near Christmas. The only issue was in the listing it says that you have use of the washer/dryer but there was a note on the washer that said guests are not to use them. So, pack accordingly, I didn't. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend it.”

“House is lovely and inviting, just like the pictures. The entrance stairs are a little steep, but manageable. Very spacious, open and comfortable. Great place to spend relaxing. Close access to several state recreation areas for boat ramp. Quaint country store about 3 miles from the house with good food and milk shakes. Will definitely be going back.”

“This was our second year staying at the lake house. We absolutely love it. The floating picnic table and jacuzzi were both new this year. And we definitely made good use of both! Seeing as how we stay here and go to Blue Ridge Rock Fest each year and it got cancelled this year, we had PLENTY of time to enjoy everything the house had to offer.
