“We were really disappointed with our stay at Von Trapp. While the grounds were pretty, we were primarily there to ski. Unfortunately the ski shuttle was not available when we were there, even though this is part of the resort fee you have no choice but to pay. Our room also was in a wifi dead zone so we could not stream any TV at night which is what we look forward to after a long ski day. “The Old Stagecoach Inn is not an ultra modern hotel and not trying to be. Expect nicely appointed old VT charm, a nice central gathering area with a wood burning fire and comfy chairs + games and puzzles. This is for sure - the breakfasts are really truly great. In the evening, walking access to Waterbury restaurants is also a big win. ”
