“Wonderful location and charming 'wee hoose'.”

“A wonderful little cabin. Nestled between other buildings but easily accessed once identified. Easy and ample parking behind property from wharf side. Very clean and newly renovated. Well appointed with nice back patio to take in afternoon sun and summer sunsets. Main view is of fishing wharf but water is just beyond. Water views from inside cabin and standing on deck. We walked to L’Abri restaurant for dinner. Great food and great water views and sunset from there (see attached photo of...

“The place was super clean, Host was very kind and helpful. place is small but had everything we needed. It is close to a very busy road so we had significant road/traffic noise, but that was not a surprise. We lost power for a day and Melanie was very kind and helpful making sure we had food and water. the place was cute and clean and in the "heart" of Cheticamp.”

“Michael, the host, was an excellent communicator. The property itself was in top-notch condition and super clean. The location was super for us to explore our Acadian heritage in the Cape Breton region, as well as explore the Cabot Trail. A totally unexpected bonus of the stay was to have my morning coffee on the back deck while literally watching the lobster fishermen run their pots just beyond the backyard. 4 thumbs up!”

“We had an average stay. Geared more for younger folks than us! Never met the host but they had no problem changing our reservation when our plans changed. If you arrive after 7 make sure you have had supper or bring something along. Everything is closed. Not much to do in the area.”

“Le chalet aurait besoin d’un peu de rénovation. Aucun lave-vaisselle, aucun moustiquaire dans la chambre donc impossible d’ouvrir la fenêtre pour rafraîchir. Ventilateur de salle de bain en train de mourir. Le spa est partagé avec un cottage voisin sans que ce soit mentionné. Aucun moyen de verrouiller les portes lors de nos sorties.”
