“We anticipated a rustic old cabin, but we did not anticipate health and safety issues or inaccurate amenities in the listing. There were no working smoke detectors, even with a wood burning stove in the cabin. There were no CO2 detectors and the furnace filter was neglected and dirty. An outlet exposed without a cover and there was some type of leak in the bathroom that caused the floor to be moist/wet. The listing stated they have WiFi, but the DSL was not operational. We would have been better...

“My family, friends and I rented it because it was in the path of totality for the eclipse. We absolutely loved the cozy feeling of this place. The kitchen, fireplace, wood stove, wall mounts and decor. Its practically my dream house and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.”

“We stayed stayed there for three nights and skied at saddleback. Easy ride to the mountain, town and the grocery store. It was a cozy cabin with everything you needed. It had a great porch with a nice of view of the lake. Will be coming back.”

“My husband and I booked in at the Eustis cabin for a little quiet relaxation before joining our extended family in the area for the holiday weekend. The cabin was comfortable, quiet, and well appointed. The area offers some great restaurants and places to fish and watch wildlife. We enjoyed falling asleee we p to the sound of the river. Wish we could have stayed longer!”

The living room and dining rooms have beautiful views of the lake, the bedrooms are comfortable and cozy, and the kitchen is well stocked with dish and cookware, We hope to come back to experience the lake in the summer sometime!”

“Nicely decorated and clean cabin. Very warm and beds are comfortable. It was perfect for myself, husband and 3 teenagers. Close to Saddleback ski resort . My only complaint is you have to walk down the driveway of the cabin behind you. They had big SUV, sleds and toys blocking the walkway. It was a challenge to walk down to the cabin. We would definitely stay here again as that was a minor issue. Just make sure you wear boots in the winter.”
