“We enjoyed our stay in the cabin! The cabin was well equipped with all necessities. It was nice sitting in the rocking chairs and swing on the front porch and looking out into the woods from the back. Only problem was the mosquitos but there was a can of OFF under the bathroom sink! Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a relaxing and calm vacation that is in close proximity to state park with hiking trails. 20 minute drive to Walmart but it seemed faster.”

“We have stayed in this area in the past and drove by this neighborhood as well as walked through it amazed at the houses and amenities. Staying here certainly did not disappoint!! We thoroughly enjoyed our month long stay taking in long wonderful walks from our cabin almost every day! Deer and ducks and birds - oh my!! We were literally in the trees and slept like babies in the very comfortable main bedroom. Having the washer and dryer was very helpful - especially for our long stay. Beautiful...

Everything was very clean, and we were impressed by the extras that were provided - hand soap, dish soap, laundry detergent, dishwasher pods, shampoo/conditioner, olive oil, salt/pepper in grinders, and a collection of spices. There was an excellent selection of dishes and cookware. This was a rustic, cozy cabin with high end finishes and details. You will not regret staying here!”

“We loved the cabin in the woods. It was very roomy and comfortable Everything that we needed for cooking was available . The porch was great. When we come to Meadows of Dan we are visiting with family in nearby Laurel Fork. The cabin is so close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and the overlooks on the Parkway at Rocky Knob are spectacular .
