Nice clean cabin
Good affordable place to stay when exploring Door Co. Owner met us when we arrived and showed us around. Cabin was clean and comfortable for the 4 of us. I'll stay again when in the area.

Super clean, well kept rustic accommodation
1960’s cabins with many original features. Very clean & well kept. Small rocky waterfront with dock facing west for watching lovely sunsets. Narrow lot- cabins close together. Lawn with fire pit & area for games. We stayed 2 week nights and spent most of our time out exploring Door County. Andre was a personable and welcoming host.

An absolutely perfect vacation
I had never been to Door County before, so this was my first trip. I knew I wanted to be as close to the lake as possible and wanted to stay in a cottage/cabin, so I could cook food instead of having to eat out. I came across Andre's listing for his family's cottages, and I booked it. I made the best decision of my life! From the moment we drove into the property, I was thrilled. I could see the lake, the beautiful open space, and the cottages lined up beautifully on the side. Andre was so nice from check in to check out! He walked us through our cabin and let us know he was available if we needed anything, and he REALLY meant it. The second day delivered the amazing sunset I had been hoping for. It was so beautiful! Then, when we got back to our cabin, Andre had left a gift of Door County cherry flavored fudge. It was so kind and thoughtful. On the day we left, I felt so relaxed and rejuvenated from my time there. Andre saw us off and even offered to take a picture of me and my family. Overall, if you want to stay at a quiet, exceptionally clean and welcoming place, with an amazing host, book this location! You will not be disappointed! I plan to go back as soon as I can!

Amazing Stay
We had an absolutely amazing stay at the cottages. Our cottage was immaculate and had everything we needed. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets every night and cool breezes from the lake during the day. Andre was incredibly helpful and gave us lots of good information about the area. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we are in Door County!

Great place
Andre was helpful throughout the entire process. He guided us to good restaurants in the area, too. I loved that our firewood was provided! Nothing better than a campfire on the lake!

Restful and quite with amazing sunset
The cabin was so clean and well equipped ( kitchen,bathroom, towels) Outdoor space has many chairs for viewing the lake and next to cabin. Outdoor games available. It was so nice being greeted by Andre, and having him walk us through the cabin and pointing out things. Bed was comfortable and for me a bonus in the bedroom was an osolating fan. (white noise) It was really neat to see his Dad's artwork on the walls!

Rustic charm excellent location
My husband, son, and friend stayed here for a boys weekend fishing trip. My son absolutely loved the cabin and can’t wait to return with the rest of the family. He loved the added small touches and communication the host provided. It might not be everyone’s taste (no a/c) but he truly thought it was amazing! Location is right next to a great boat ramp and wonderful restaurant. My son recommends the frog legs!

Great place for young family
- Quiet, scenic, comfortable, clean, convenient, friendly We were worried about the size for a family of five but it was perfect for us. Ages 8,6 and 2. The location was within an easy drive to Sturgeon Bay, The Farm and the rest of Door County. Andre (Host) was friendly and easy to work with. We will consider returning and highly recommend.

Cute and Cozy
Adorable, clean and personable cottages. Andy clearly thought of everything a person might need to feel welcome and comfortable on the property. The showers are a bit small so if you are a large person it might be difficult, but we didn't have any problems (we are pretty average sized people). The view of the water was amazing! We brought our paddle boards and fishing poles with us and paddled out at sunset - it was beautiful! We even caught a few small fish (gobies and yellow perch). Highly recommend if your wanting something charming and not a mainstream/stuffy resort hotel.

Lakeside Cabins

Perfect family getaway
Cabin is super clean with everything you could need for stay. Grounds are great for small kids who will keep busy on the swing set and sand box. Host Andre is very accommodating like the other reviews mention. Andre suggested we visit The Farm in Sturgeon Bay which did not disappoint! Would definitely recommend this rental. :)

Beautiful Sunsets, Great Lakeshore Location to Explore Door County
Andre and his family have been hosting guests for many years at his beautiful lakeshore property. The sunsets over the bay are incredible and you can see for miles! His cottages are vintage, cozy, clean, and well-stocked with everything you need including a picnic table / grill out front and a firepit to sit at as you look out over the bay. Andre is a capable, pleasant and attentive host. He'll take care to make your stay perfect. Thanks, Andre!

Outstanding property with a retro vibe
André is an incredible host and the property is super charming. Gorgeous sunset views only steps from your cabin door. Only about 3 minutes out of Sturgeon Bay, but feels very separate from the city. And there are so many starts to see at night. Would recommend 110%.

Nice property, great location
The property was very clean and cute. We loved the stove as it did get chilly at night during our stay. The sunsets were beautiful and the location was convenient to all of the places we wanted to visit. The owner (Andre) was great as well-friendly and available whenever we needed him. We would definitely stay here again!

Hospitable Host
Enjoyed a brief, but nice stay at this clean and cozy cottage on the waterfront. Great location minutes from downtown Sturgeon Bay. Just adjacent to the cottage, we enjoyed a nice glass of wine and beautiful sunset. Our host Andre greeted us at the property and gave us some nice tips for dining and shopping. Great experience!

The Andropolis Cottages are above and beyond the coziest, and the cleanest with every box checked for the necessary amenities to make your get-a-way a time of nothing but enjoyment. Cozy and Quiet
The cabins are older but very clean and well maintained. The view of the bay is beautiful. Andre and Anne are very friendly and attentive and we enjoyed our conversations with them. We loved staying here and would not hesitate to come back.

The host is very pleasant and attentive - lives on property. Cottage is small but adequate for 4. Setting on the lakeshore is excellent and gave us a gorgeous sunset. Would stay again.

Great location, rustic cabin
We wanted to do some bicycling and this is located along Bayshore drive, you can easily bike to Egg Harbor. We were there on a 3 day weekend so the traffic was a bit heavy during the week you would have the road to yourself. A short drive to Sturgeon Bay. Bayfront location, beautiful sunsets. Rustic cabin but impeccably clean. Well stocked. Andre the host is gracious. Prompt in communication and very helpful.

Fantastic cottages, a beautiful setting and a great great host! I would defiantly recommend to anyone. We booked and we’re not disappointed! We had our own little private cottage with plenty of room. We were able to come and go to restaurants and up and down the peninsula with ease! There was also an abundant amount of information left for us about local restaurants and activities all over Door County! 5 out of 5 stars!

Quaint cottage in Sturgeon Bay
We stayed here to celebrate our 28th anniversary. The cottage is easy to find, located about 5 minutes from the town of Sturgeon Bay. Cabins are clean and beautifully retro. Too bad the weather didn't cooperate for an evening bonfire. Perfect size for 2 alone or with small children.

Beautiful and peaceful
The rental process was super easy. The property manager was just a pleasure to deal with. The cabin was very clean. It was peaceful with a gorgeous view of the bay! We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Cozy, clean place with an awesome view
Couldn’t have asked for a better surrounding to stay in. The cottage is cozy and has all the amenities. There is a garden and the lake shore view is just spectacular especially if you want to see the sunset. I recommend staying here.

The property was very clean and the owner was very helpful. He offered suggestions on what to do while we were in Door County to help make our stay wonderful. The cabins are older but very nice and clean. They even had a bottle of wine to help us celebrate our anniversary.

The classic WI cabin experience

Wonderful getaway!
Great location and property! Enjoyed the late view and evening bonfire a lot! Host is very familiar with Door County and shared recommendations and stories of the community. Property has been in the family for 50 or so years and that kind of connection was very evident in all aspects of the property.

We totally loved the location and our host, Andre, was helpful, attentive and a pleasure to deal with. We will be back.

Cozy and quiet
First time at this property but definitely won't be my last. The property manager puts in 110% to make sure you have a comfortable and accommodating stay. Highly recommended!

SECOND TIME WE STAYED IN THE"RED DOOR" COTTAGE
We, Dick and I had another great time in Sturgeon Bay, staying in the "Red Door" cottage. Thank you André and your mother Ann for making our stay an enjoyable one and getting to know you folks better. We enjoyed having you visit us and telling us about your life and your past career. Amazing
We just came up for the weekend. It was planned last minute. We couldn’t have been happier with the place. It had everything that we needed. My son loved using the dock to fish off of. He caught plenty of fish. We can’t wait to come back next year.
