Questa tenuta equestre ha un ambiente molto privato con ettari di paesaggio lussureggiante. La recinzione bianca circonda i pascoli erbosi. La fontana danze sul laghetto privato. Guarda la bellissima alba sopra i cedri. Goditi un pomeriggio a guardare i cavalli e le mucche che pascolano e giocano. Ammira i tramonti colorati mentre sei seduto vicino alla tua buca per il fuoco privata.

La zona giorno splendidamente arredata è un grande monolocale. C'è un nuovo letto king size e 2 letti singoli. Un tavolo e sedie da pranzo costruiti da Amish hanno vista sull'arena interna. L'angolo cottura ha un frigorifero sottopiano, un forno a microonde, un tostapane, una caffettiera, un lavandino, stoviglie e utensili. Tutte le lenzuola e gli asciugamani forniti. Il bagno privato ha una nuova doccia, un nuovo bagno e una nuova vanità con un ripiano in pietra.

Cosa si può vedere nella stalla: poppate quotidiane di cavalli, mucche, capre, galline e gatto della stalla, raccolta delle uova di gallina, i cavalli e le mucche che passeggiano per i loro pascoli al mattino e tornano alle loro bancarelle ogni sera. A seconda della giornata, potrebbe esserci la visione dei cavalieri di dressage sui loro cavalli e l'allenamento del nostro cavallo di un anno, Optimus.

* NOTA: gli animali stabili sono svegli e si aspettano la loro prima alimentazione intorno alle 7 del mattino. Saremo il più silenziosi possibile! Siete pregati di notare che l'appartamento è collegato alla stalla e potreste sentire qualche attività.

My husband surprised me for our 10 year anniversary by booking us a weekend at the farm and it was a truly refreshing and memorable experience. Steve and Tammy were warm and welcoming, making us feel at home right away. They gave us a tour of the property and introduced us to the animals, which was the highlight of our stay. From helping to collect eggs to interacting with all the horses, chickens, cows, and cats I couldn’t have asked for more. The accommodations were clean, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared. Steve and Tammy gave so many suggestions of things to do during the day around Door County that when you are not with the animals you will have plenty to look forward to. Nights were quiet and serene, with stunning views of the stars. Overall, I highly recommend this farm stay to anyone looking to relax, reconnect with nature, and enjoy simple pleasures. It’s a perfect retreat for families and/or couples who need to relax and have a peaceful experience. We can’t wait to go back with our daughters to share the experience with them.

My husband and I spent the weekend at the farm and had a wonderful time! Perfect place tucked away from busy city life but close enough to attractions. The owners were very friendly, easy to communicate with, and gave us suggestions for lunch/dinner and places to check out. We are excited to bring our family back next summer! The animals were definitely a bonus as well. We got to feed the horses treats, meet the dogs, and the baby miniature highland calf. Highly recommend this slice of heaven for the perfect getaway.

This property deserves 6 stars! The hosts could not have been more welcoming. The large studio was much more than expected. Everything you need for a couple or a family of 4. And then…. The animals…..it was wonderful! Thank you Tammy & Steve for hosting us and all your wonderful recommendations!

We had an amazing time, we didn’t want to leave! Every morning and evening we “helped” with barn chores with the animals, which really just means we gave them lots of snuggles and treats. Tammy and Steve are super friendly and very kind hosts! The only thing I would say, is the GPS got us all turned around a few times finding the property. BUT…. Once you get to the property, you will be transported into a quiet, peaceful sanctuary, WE WILL BE BACK!

Our four-night stay at the Stable Living Quarters was the most relaxing experience on a trip that we have taken in a long time. Our hosts were caring, accommodating and above all, wonderful people that we now consider our friends. We loved the grounds, the room, spending time with the animals, the secluded/quiet location, and the fire pit for evening relaxation. The room was immaculate, there were no barn odors, and we never heard the animals at night and rarely during the day. The Stable was just a 10-minute drive to Sturgeon Bay and within 30-minutes to most Door County tourist sites and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again if we should return to northeast Wisconsin.

Tammy and Steve were great hosts. Despite being adjacent to the stable, we didn’t hear much noise from the animals. It was dreamy waking up to the beautiful horses right next door. We are from Chicago and Door County is always our summer vacation destination, but this has been so far the most memorable experience. Would definitely recommend for a summer getaway from the city!

Cool little place that was perfect for our family. Kids (11 and 9) enjoyed the animals. The inside was very nice and clean with quality furniture. Beautiful property and location was convenient for anything we wanted to do. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly.

Tammy and Steve have a beautiful hobby farm with several horses, cattle and chickens. The guest house which is attached to the horse stables is beautifully furnished, well maintained and quiet! Their location made driving to nearby parks and restaurants a breeze, yet far enough away to enjoy their peaceful surroundings. By the way the fresh eggs are delicious!!

Waking up to horses and cows and beautiful pasture every morning was wonderful. The home was fully stocked with supplies and even had a washer and dryer, full fridge, and toaster oven that wasn’t pictured. Hosts were great with any help or info needed. We had a great time and it was very close to all the surrounding towns for adventures.

For a first time trip to Door County we could not resist this place! From the actual building to the beautiful animals and wildlife everything was amazing. Tammy and her family were wonderful to talk to about the area hotspots and let us see all the animals. Would highly recommend for anyone going to the area or just a get away! We chose this as a last minute get away. We love animals and thought it would be a unique setting. The listing describes it perfectly. The family is so kind and gracious. We interacted with the dogs, cats, chickens and horses and visited with the family while they cared for the farm. It was welcoming and warm. We chose to engage and learn about the farm. We explored every part of Door County from this location. The apartment is very private and comfortable. I highly recommend! Thank you for an amazing get away - the fresh eggs were a treat. Tell Chief we’ll miss him! We visited his stall each evening.

First of all the family owners were exceptional. They greated us with open arms and really invited us to take time with the horses. My wife was side by side with feeding time. And if your worried about staying in a stable house, don't! It is fixed up very nicely, with some of the best furniture I have had in a VRBO unit. And you can't hear any noise, it was pretty sound proof. I sat outside for about 3 hours just watching the cattle, chickens and horses and just relaxed. We also went to thier bar they own in Sturgeon Bay and threw some Axes. It was great. Thank you again for a great get away.

The grounds were incredible, the lodging was as advertised and previously reviewed: clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The hosts, Tammy and Steve, were so welcoming and friendly. This was our 2nd time staying in the cozy space and our kids loved it. They loved feeding the horses and chickens and spending time hanging out with the cats. Property is beautiful and in a great location. Nice and quiet retreat.

What an exceptionally special place! We were utterly blown away by the gorgeous property and the farm experience was magical for our whole family. The entire stay was warm and welcoming. We felt right at home right away. Every detail is attended to in perfection. An absolute family favorite. We cannot wait to return! We are so grateful for our time here and for the opportunity to meet and spend time with (and learn from) our extraordinary hosts. Extraordinary place and experience, start to finish. This was the coolest experience! My little kids are 3 and 5 and it gave us a first hand look at farm life- it was so fun to see the beautiful horses!! The host family is VERY nice! They answered so many questions. We are coming back in the winter! Excited to become a regular here!!

This was a truly unique experience: a working stable with an attached apartment, with windows looking directly into the stable! Got to meet the horses and cows and give them treats. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. Property is expansive and secluded, but close to many nearby attractions. Accommodations were clean, comfortable and attractive. Might just mention it is probably best suited to morning people, as being a working stable there is activity that starts early in the morning. Luckily, we are very sound sleepers, and found any disturbance minimal. All in all, thoroughly enjoyable, and highly recommended!

I can not say enough good things about our stay. The whole experience was wonderful! The location is very peaceful with gorgeous scenery. The hosts (and family) were fantastic! The horses are what drew us to this property and we were not disappointed. My kids were able to greet and treat the horses, mini-horses, and cows each day. Also, the hosts‘ 23 year old daughter (who is great with kids) let my kids help with feedings and some chores. The apartment was clean with plenty of seating room. Though it didn’t have a full kitchen, it did have a Keurig, a regular coffee maker, an air fryer/toaster oven, microwave, a griddle, and an under the counter fridge, in addition to dishes, cups, and utensils. Would love to return if we make it back to Door County!

Unique stay that exceeded all our expectations. The cleanliness, attention to detail and thoughtfulness throughout the entire property is amazing. Super quiet throughout the night. Awesome family effort! Horses, mini-horses, cows, chickens and family pets all made appearances. Super friendly. Great location - far enough to be private, close enough to get to attractions.
