“L'hotel è comodo al centro storico, con parcheggio. La stanza era piccola e noi abbiamo molto sentito la mancanza di un armadio o di un attaccapanni. Il tavolo con la sua sedia è inutilizzabile, se si tira fuori la sedia, non si gira più in camera, sopra il tavolo c'era di tutto. Ottimo che ci sia il bollitore con tè e caffè ma la grande specchiera da appoggio non aveva ragione di essere lì. Il bagno è molto bello e completo, la vista sul campo da rugby non era male. “Really enjoyed our stay in this lovely Manor House. Jakes and Jane were extremely welcoming and friendly. Our room was very comfortable. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided in room daily were very welcomed after a day walking on the Moors. An amazing breakfast every morning which was delicious. Lovely and peaceful location with easy access to Dartmoor and Cornwall. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Our stay at Meadow Oak has been a pleasant one. The house is big and our room was on the top floor. Nice view from the two roof windows and comfortable room equipped with wide screen TV and video-player.In our room a bath equipped for a spa bath. Breakfast is nothing noteworthy as just milk and cereals are offered, plus room in the fridge and the use of the kitchen for cooking anything one would eat (bring your food). “TotALY perfect . Lots of communication .Easy check in . Gorgeous room . Delicious Pie ( it was Friday ) and veg . Breakfast was perfectly cooked. We took a walk and lost our way which was also perfect . Cant wait to go back ”

Every member of staff we met were warm and friendly and the cooked breakfast was superb. Appledore is such a lovely destination and a stay at the Royal George makes it all the more special. “A conduzione familiare,il posto é meraviglioso,curato nei minimi particolari.Siamo stati accolti dalla proprietaria calorosamente.Ci ha fatto scegliere la camera che preferivamo e ci ha offerto un caffè con due cup cake nella sala relax.Ci ha dato anche indicazioni su dove cenare e su come muoverci.La camera é piccola ma funzionale,con set per la preparazione di the o caffè con biscotti e caramelle.La colazione é varia ed abbondante.Se dovessimo capitare in zona ci torneremo di sicuro.”
